I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals, with most of my hands-on work involving dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, and fish. I’ve also spent time caring for or working around animals like horses, pigs, sheep, birds (including chickens, quail, ducks, geese, budgies, parrots, owls, and pigeons), reptiles (corn snakes and geckos), and even tarantulas. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and needs, including those with medical or behavioural challenges, as long as I have clear guidance on their routines. My experience includes: • Administering medication to both cats and dogs, including insulin injections for diabetic dogs • Following any strict dietary and exercise routines prescribed. • Caring for a large rescue Alaskan Malamute with behavioural issues. • Bathing and grooming various dogs and cats when needed. • Knowledge and experience using positive reinforcement training principles (so can support your pet’s routine and any training goals with consistency and understanding) What sets me apart is my MSc in Animal Behaviour, which gives me a solid foundation in animal psychology, body language, and wellbeing. I’m calm, observant, and always attuned to each animal’s unique personality and comfort. I’m open to working with any species and will always be upfront about my experience. I’ll only take on a job if I’m confident I can give your pet the highest standard of care.
