Elizabeth, Gavin and their two lovely pups kept Cedar busy and happy when I was away for a week. I actually think she experienced a bit of let-down when she came home after all the activity! I highly recommend Elizabeth.

Elizabeth and Gavin and their sweet pups Ruby and Belle took wonderful care of my dog Cedar. They were attentive to her needs and moods and kept me posted on how she was adjusting to them and their home. She came home happy and relaxed, so I know she had a good time! I plan to take Cedar to Elizabeth's the next time I need a pet sitter. I am confident she will be loved and well cared for.

Elizabeth & Gavin are awesome! The kindness and love they provided Daisy while staying with them and their English Creams was amazing! Received daily updates with wonderful pictures of Daisy having a ball! Thank you!

Elizabeth & Gavin took wonderful care of our goldendoodle while we were out of the country on an extended trip for 2 weeks. We moved to Seattle a little over a year-and-a-half ago and have struggled to find a rover who we really trusted to watch our pup. Elizabeth and Gavin more than fit the bill. They were responsive and sent in depth daily summaries of what our dog was up to, how he was behaving and how the day had gone. They really cared for him as if he were one of their own. We're so appreciate of the attention and kindness they showed to our pup and will definitely be using them again.

Schedule

My husband, Gavin, and I both work hybrid schedules, so there is always someone home during the day. We make daily exercise a priority for our own dogs, and we extend that same care to the dogs we look after. In our home, dogs are treated as part of the family and are welcome to sleep in the bedroom with us.

Safety, trust & environment

I use force-free, positive reinforcement training methods and am not a good fit for dogs who use shock or prong collars. I have experience managing reactive behavior on walks (one of my own dogs is reactive), so I appreciate clear and honest descriptions of any reactivity or behavioral challenges. Because I have two dogs of my own at home, I’m not a good fit for dogs who cannot safely tolerate being around other dogs. I have a large, fully fenced backyard and make daily walks part of the routine when that’s what your dog is accustomed to at home. Dogs are never allowed off-leash outside of my yard. Inside the house, I have ample space to keep dogs comfortably separated if they need rest or if I need to step out, and I never leave dogs who don’t live together in the same space unsupervised.

Pets

A typical day

Dogs are part of the family, and many can feel anxious when they’re away from home. I encourage you to share as much as you can about your dog’s daily routine, and I’ll do my best to keep things as close to normal as possible. Backyard play, walks, and enrichment are part of our regular routine, and I’m happy to incorporate your dog in a way that feels safe and comfortable for everyone.
