Availability
I work full-time at a veterinary emergency hospital and have a rotating schedule of four 12-hour shifts per week. On my workdays, I’m not available so I can stay fully focused on patient care. However, on my days off, I’m completely available and able to dedicate my full attention to your pet. I’m especially a great fit for weekend care, boarding, and extended stays when I’m off work.

Information Elizabeth A. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about your pet’s routine, energy level, feeding schedule, and any medical needs or medications. I also like to know about behavior with other dogs, any anxiety triggers, and commands they know. Since I have a dog in my home, it’s important that your pet is friendly or can be safely separated if needed. The more details you share, the better I can provide a safe, comfortable experience.
A typical day
On my days off, your pet will get plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment. We’ll go on multiple walks, explore new smells, and have structured playtime to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. I also build in downtime so they can relax and feel comfortable in a new environment. I adjust activities based on your pet’s energy level, personality, and needs to make sure they feel safe and at home.

Experienced & Reliable Care
Pet care experience
I have 7 years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. In addition to personal pet care, I work in a veterinary ER setting, which has strengthened my ability to recognize subtle changes in behavior and prioritize safety. I’m experienced with puppies, high energy breeds, and senior dogs needing extra patience. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and keeping owners updated. Your pet’s wellbeing comes first, always.

Reviews
I was out of the country and Elizabeth had my dog a. She kept me informed of all that he was doing. I did not know that my dog had anxiety and Elizabeth took my dog to the vet and took care of him for the five days that I was gone. She is the best dog sitter I have ever encountered with and I’ve been doing this for years. I recommend her to everyone.
Elizabeth is an amazing care taker! I work with her at an animal hospital and she has always shown great care and concern for the animals housed there for treatment. She makes sure they are clean and comfortable before all else! Very detail oriented and trustworthy!
I’m happy to recommend Elizabeth for Rover. She has cared for my dog and cats on multiple occasions, and every time I’ve felt completely confident leaving my pets in her hands. As a veterinary technician, she brings an exceptional level of knowledge and professionalism to pet care. She understands animal behavior, health monitoring, medication administration, and early signs of illness in a way that goes far beyond basic pet sitting. That background gave me real peace of mind, especially knowing she could quickly recognize and handle any potential issues. Beyond her technical knowledge, Elizabeth genuinely loves animals. It’s obvious in the way she interacts with them patient, attentive, and compassionate. My pets are always relaxed and happy around her, which says everything. She keeps me updated, follows instructions carefully, and treats my home and animals with respect. I would trust her anytime with my pets and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, knowledgeable, and caring sitter.
Liz was one of the best sitters and walkers my German Shepherd, Fire, ever had. She was incredibly gentle, and Fire took to her immediately—which says a lot. Liz truly has a natural way with dogs; she felt like a dog whisperer when it came to Fire. I always felt confident and at ease knowing Fire was in her care.
