As I am retired, my daily routine is centered entirely around the care and happiness of the dogs in my home. Your pet will receive plenty of one-on-one attention, dedicated daily walks, scheduled feeding, and quiet nap times—I have abundant time to focus on their needs! The doggy door and secure fenced yard are accessible at all times, giving your dog the freedom to safely go outside whenever they wish. I usually take a short first thing in the morning walk, a longer walk in the afternoon, and a wrap up evening short walk. On your last day, the pup must be picked up by 4 o"clock thanks!

Information Elizabeth A. would like to know about your pet
Communication is important; clue me in on any special attentions your pet may want; to make for a special experience. You should provide food, toys and bedding that the pet is familiar with! Please make sure your pup is 100% potty trained, and has its own familiar bed that it likes to sleep in.
A typical day
I live only a short walk from the Rio Del Mar beach, I go there every day. I am clued in to dog behavior and can tell, and always ask, if another person's dog on a leash is friendly if our dogs get close to each other. Usually nap time mid afternoon, or quiet time. Short walk up the hill first thing in the morning, for a fresh start to the day! and a short evening walk for "business" before entering quiet time, then bedtime. Substantial walk in the afternoon, allowing pets to smell at leisure.

Dog Owner's Loving Home Boarding
Pet care experience
My Nikki was a Chihuahua, whom I adored until she passed away just before I got married and moved to Germany. I returned to Santa Cruz County and devoted my time to raising my daughter Lily, who also later boarded using Rover, when she was in Germany! We love dogs, no matter what country :-) Your pet will receive the loving care my Koko now receives! Non-smoking, sunny light filled home; your pet can relax in the sun inside, or go out onto the sunny patio, or out in the spacious fun yard at any time! If your pup does not have its own familiar bed (ie it sleeps on your bed) this would not be a good fit. Please make sure your pup is 100% potty trained.
Reviews

Elizabeth is a great dog sitter, always sending me updates. Very responsive and communicative. I would recommend her every time. 10/10

Took great care of our pup!

Elizabeth was wonderful. She had our shorky for 3 weeks. She sent photos and updates on a regular basis. Our little fella came home happy. We would definitely leave him with her again. Thank you Elizabeth!!

Elizabeth is great! Always responsive and keeps me up to date how my doggie is doing. She was able to help me out of a jam where an incident caused me to run over my time to pick up. She worked with me and made sure everything was okay. I’ll be using her again. Recommended 10/10
