WFH dog owner w/ fenced backyard
I grew up with dogs (black lab and golden retriever) and have been helping to take care of dogs my entire life. I currently own a 90 pound Bernese mountain dog/poodle mix and have raised him since he was an 8 week old puppy. Despite my dog’s large size, he has never met a dog he doesn’t like! I am happy to care for dogs of all ages and breeds, but unfortunately cannot care for dogs who may react in aggressive ways toward other dogs since there will be another dog in my home. Besides my own dog, I only care for one other dog at a time (or up to two if from the same family). This allows me to ensure that your dog will receive maximum love and attention from me!

Eliza was an absolutely amazing sitter! Our dog was so happy I don’t think he wanted to leave! She is great at sending updates and pictures, and very professional with her communication. Can’t recommend anyone better in Bozeman!

Schedule
I am fortunate enough to be able to work full-time from home! This allows me to check on the dogs periodically throughout the day, take them for walks between meetings, refill water dishes, etc. on the weekends I can take your pup for longer trail hikes or runs but you can be reassured that your dog will be receiving near constant attention, regardless!

Safety, trust & environment
I promise to care for your dog(s) in the same way I would care for my own. Since I have a dog myself, my home is already relatively “puppy proof” and safe for dogs of all sizes and ages. I have a 6 foot tall fenced backyard which should keep even the savviest escape artists secured! I have experience with crate training and while my dog is now trusted to free roam, I am happy to allow your dog to use his old crate if needed!

A typical day
A typical day may include a combination of supervised playtime in the backyard, “sniffari” walks around the neighborhood, mental stimulation through training exercises and food puzzles, structured rest time, and for those higher energy breeds, I am happy to take them with me on longer trail runs and hikes.
