Being a graduate student, my schedule is less flexible on weekdays. However, there is plenty of room in my school day for me to check-in on your furry friends. My 4-day school week means that I am available for your pet sitting needs on weekends, so you can enjoy your time off, worry-free.

I always care for pets as if they were my own. Each individual pet is unique with its own set of preferences - in how they want to spend their time, what they think is fun, and how they like to be treated. Just like us - each pet's personality is different. I believe that adhering to a pet's specific preferences is key as a petsitter. Not only will this build trust, it can also make them excited when a petsitter comes!

I have no breed preferences, I love all kinds of pups and pets! My work within shelters has exposed me to a variety of breeds, personalities, and health conditions. Before a visit, I would love to know a little bit about your dog's personality (for example if they are shy, scared of strangers, etc.). That way, I can make an extra effort to make your pooch comfortable when I come to visit. If your dog has any underlying health conditions, please make that known to me. I am experienced with administering medications and have no issue with it, I just need to be made aware prior to my visit. Additionally, if you are in the process of training your pup and would like me to use your specific techniques/commands, I am happy to help out!
A typical day
I understand the importance of mental stimulation and physical exercise for dogs. One of the best ways to provide mental enrichment for dogs is to bring them to a new place and let them sniff! Is your dog a high energy breed? Perhaps a run through the park would be more enjoyable. Is your dog obsessed with that one toy? Let's play! Whether playing fetch or lounging on the couch, I am happy to provide comfort and fun to your pets while their humans are away.

Hello! Im Eliza, a 24 year old graduate student who absolutely loves animals of all kind! I have grown up with both cats and dogs and 100% understand how much our fur babies mean to us. Throughout high school I volunteered at the local ASPCA shelter, which inspired me to pursue work at a private dog shelter focused on helping strays and dogs with disabilities. Does your pooch have health issues or perhaps is a little afraid of strangers? No problem! I have several years of experience working with dogs of all ages with a variety of health and behavioral challenges. Although most of my professional experience is with dogs, I am open to working with cats, fish, etc. If you are looking for a trustworthy, professional petsitter that adheres to your pet's specific needs, look no further!
