I’ve grown up surrounded by both dogs and cats, which has given me a deep understanding of their needs, personalities, and behaviors. Over the years, I’ve expanded that experience into pet sitting, walking, fostering, and providing attentive, loving care to pets of all ages. I have several years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats, including those with medical needs who require extra patience, attention, and specialized care. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed care routines, and ensuring pets feel safe and supported at all times. In addition to general pet care, I’ve also trained puppies and cared for young kittens, helping them develop healthy habits and positive behaviors from the start. I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing reliable, compassionate care so you can feel confident that they're in good hands!

Elissa was great! Another dog sitter fell through for us just a few days before a trip that unfortunately Guinness couldn't go on. Elissa was available and right around the corner. She was super friendly and Guinness had a great time. We would definitely have Guinness stay with Elissa again!
Elissa is a very affectionate person with pets. She grew up having pets all her life. Whether it was fish, parakeets, dogs or cats she enjoyed having each. In a past life she must've been a farmers daughter. Elissa shows an abundant affection towards pets and her warm interactions always warms them to her.

My goal is always to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal schedule as closely as possible. In a client’s home, I focus on consistency and respect for their space. I follow all care instructions closely and ensure that pets get plenty of attention and playtime. I also provide regular updates so owners feel reassured while they’re away. In my home, I aim to create a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment. I also pay close attention to pets' behavior and comfort level, making adjustments to ensure they feel secure and at ease.
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, active, and engaged! For dogs, I enjoy long walks around the neighborhood and the park. I also prioritize playtime with their favorite toys, games like fetch or tug, and enrichment activities like treat games to keep them engaged. I'm also happy to lead light training sessions for puppies who are learning new skills. For cats, I focus on interactive play like wand toys and creating cozy, hideaway spaces for them!
