Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up helping with my family’s rescue organization, The Rescuers Dog Placement Service, where our family rescued, trained, and rehomed over 500 dogs. My mom is a professional dog trainer, so she taught me everything from dog handling and grooming to training and understanding canine behaviour. As a child, I participated in dog agility and 4-H dog programs, and I still enjoy dog sports today. I currently train in agility with my dog, Arrow, and have recently started dock diving with my puppy, Comet. Since my teenage years, I have provided dog walking, pet sitting, and basic training for friends, family, and clients. Dogs are truly my passion, and spending time with them is one of my favourite things to do. I also worked at a pet store for 8 years, gaining experience with a wide variety of animals and their care. Over the years, I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, chickens, pigs, birds, snakes, lizards, fish, and more. I understand that every pet has its own unique personality and routine, and I take pride in providing reliable, compassionate, and individualized care. As a BC certified K–12 teacher, I am dependable, responsible, and an excellent communicator. I’ll always keep you updated with photos, videos, and messages while you’re away, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I will treat your pet with the same love, attention, and respect that I give my own animals.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is always my top priority. I’m confident handling a wide range of animals and understanding their unique temperaments, behaviours, and individual needs. I have experience caring for small and large breeds, puppies, senior dogs, reactive dogs, shy or anxious dogs, and high energy dogs. I believe consistency is important, so I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while you’re away. I’m attentive to changes in behaviour or health and will keep you informed with regular photo, video, and message updates throughout my stay. Your pet’s well-being, happiness, and safety will always come first.

Elisha really goes above and beyond. I came back to my place clean, spotless, my pup happy and tired from playing. She was extremely communicative and easygoing when things came up. I can’t wait for our pups to play again! She’s super super sweet and absolutely loves animals (which shows) and my dog loved her. Can’t wait to book you again!
We had a wonderful experience with Elisha! She took excellent care of our Newfoundland, Brutus, in our home while we were away out of town, and we couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! Brutus clearly adored her—he was happy, relaxed, and cuddling with her constantly, which says everything about how comfortable he felt in her care\. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was so well looked after. When we returned home, our house was spotless and just as we had left it.. Elisha is dependable, trustworthy, and genuinely caring. We felt completely confident having her in our home, and it’s obvious she has a real love for animals. I had the pleasure of having Elisha adopt Arrow through me, and I couldn’t have asked for a better home for him. She has always been incredibly caring, patient, and dedicated, and it’s been so nice to see how much Arrow is loved and how well he’s doing. When I had my dog, Quinn, Elisha was my go-to for dog sitting, taking her on hikes, and fun adventures. I always had complete peace of mind knowing Quinn was with her because she treated her like one of her own. Quinn absolutely loved spending time with Elisha and always came home happy, tired, and well cared for. Elisha is reliable, compassionate, and has a genuine love for animals. I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their dog or anyone wanting to give their pet a fun, safe, and loving experience.
I have known Elisha personally for 24 years and counting. when I got my dog Remi as a puppy, almost seven years ago Elisha was immediately his favorite person. She took care of him when I went to work so he wouldn't be alone until my partner returned from work. He saw her as another pup-mum and her dog, Arrow, as a brother, She is so kind and gentle with Remi and he is extremely excited whenever he sees her. She is great with training and prides herself on her knowledge and expertise with animals and their needs. I often will reach out to her for professional teeth cleaning and scaling and she does amazing. She was also there for me when I got my rescue Marli. He was anxious and stressed and she helped me through the first week of his fostering. I would always recommend Elisha to care for your loved pet. The dogs gravitate to her bubbly, warm and loving personality, as do many of us humans. I cannot say enough great things about her. Your pet will be very happy and good-tired after her care. So many adventure opportunities hanging out with Elisha.
Elisha has helped care for my Brittany Spaniel, “Cheyenne” for the past 15 years! She even went with me to pick up Cheyenne as a puppy! Throughout the years she has taken care of Cheyenne when I was out of town and is always available to offer advice when I have questions about her behaviour or care. Elisha is a very loving, responsible and kind person with a lot of animal experience. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing animal care or house sitting!!

Schedule
I work online as a tutor, giving me a flexible schedule to provide reliable pet care on weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Since I live full-time in my van, I’m able to travel to wherever I’m needed and adapt my schedule to your pet’s routine. I charge a flat nightly rate with no additional fees for extra pets, holidays, or extended stays. I’m more than happy to accommodate extended bookings ranging from a few weeks to several months, and I love building lasting relationships with both pets and their owners. I also love to travel and am open to pet care opportunities anywhere in Canada or internationally.
