Pet care experience
I have had cats and dogs throughout my childhood while I lived with my parents and absolutely love having pets. I have had a few dogs board here now and we have loved every single experience. We go above and beyond to treat your pets as our own and make them feel safe/ comfortable as well as plenty of exercise and human interaction since I’m not working just now. I also provide lots of updates and photos for peace of mind for the owners. Both my kids love having dogs here and it’s so nice to watch them enjoying the experience too. All dogs I’ve had so far have settled in straight away and made themselves right at home. I recommend that you come and meet me and my family and see where your dog will be staying before you confirm a booking to ensure we are a good fit. After all, a dog is a family member and you want to trust that you are leaving your dog in the best possible care.

Perfect dog sitters!! Our two were very happy with Elisha and her family, in fact when I picked them up they did not seem at all bothered about coming back home. Thanks to you and your family Elisha, Pennie and Melodie had a good day, great to see them enjoying a walk and cuddles.

Boarding: I have a large fenced (and padlocked when we have dogs) back yard and will provide at least 2 walks per day and unlimited time in back yard and regular pees. Our back garden gate leads straight into the woods and large fields for an ideal dog walk. As long as your dog is house trained he or she is able to roam free downstairs and can sleep on our sofa if they don’t sleep in a crate. We will take the dog on family trips out and even to dog friendly restaurants. As seen in my pictures, your pet would be treated as part of my family. As I am on maternity leave I would be around to spend so much time with your pet. At home visits: I will respect another persons home and go by the instructions I am left when caring for their pet.

I need to know if your dog is good off the lead and if they have good recall, if good with other dogs, and if the dog is toilet trained, must be good around children.
A typical day
We will go on different walks, drives to different areas (in nicer weather) to explore other surroundings. There’s so many local spots to me which are great for a dog walk. We also have a local secluded spot which is amazing for a dog walk and swim for them which is great fun. I guarantee two walks per day, morning and late afternoon. I will take a ball. We will go in the woods, throw sticks and play chase. Lots of cuddles up on the sofa while watching tv with me and my daughter. I will send daily photos and provide regular updates to the owner whilst your pet is in my care. Plenty of time in the garden playing especially in the summer.

Availability
I’m currently on maternity leave so I am at home a lot of the time unless out with the kids. My partner works shifts so even when I am out he is usually at home so your dog would barely be alone. I enjoy going out walking and finding nice new spots to go for walks. I’ve also recently took up running so if your dog is fit enough then I will take your dog out on a run with me. I’ve done this with a few dogs that have boarded with me now and took them to King’s park for a run with me. Regardless, I will ensure your dog gets out for two walks per day minimum, no matter the weather. If we are going somewhere nice with the kids then I’ll bring your dog along to family trips which I have done previously taking dogs to the beach/ forest (Tentsmuir) with us as seen in pics. I have a 4 year old and an (almost) 1 year old. Both loving having dogs here and especially my 4 year old is great with them. I can only take in dogs who are good with children.
