Elise has over 15 years of dog and other pet care experience from walking dogs, to training pets, to house sitting. Elise trained her parents' dog as a puppy when she was a teenager and helped with her care. Before coming to Rover, Elise house sat at least ten different dogs regularly. Elise has experience with senior pets and pets that require medications. She looks forward to meeting you and your pets!
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
Currently Elise only cares for pets who remain in their home during the time of service. This is due to her apartment not having a lot of green space or space to roam. She does not live with the family dog as pictured. If you would like, she often helps clean the client's home during her stay so please let her know if you have any projects or to-do's to tackle.

Elise was the best pet sitter we’ve ever had. And how do we know? My dog suffers from anxiety and is usually wary of strangers, but I had to travel and asked if she could stay at the hotel we were in to take care of him while we had to go out. Within a minute, he was already showing his belly for her to give him rubs. When we returned, he was happy to see us but ran straight to Elise to lick her and sit next to her. Besides that, she is a wonderful person—super responsible, organized, and pleasant to be around. If you’re looking for someone who will love and care for your pet just as you do, I highly recommend her!
Elise took great care of our dog in our home while we were traveling. She can be nervous around new people, and Elise worked hard to put her at ease. We definitely hope to have her back in the future!
Elise was available last minute to watch our three dogs overnight. We had a great experience with her. She was wonderful with the pups and their different personalities and needs.

Schedule
Elise is a medical student so her schedule works best for dogs with humans who work full time, but she can be flexible. Elise is able to help pets during her breaks. She can be flexible with how early your dog gets up or if the dog needs to be let out during the night. She is used to that with her parents’ dog.
