Your dog, cared for like my own
I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. In 2021, I welcomed my own golden retriever into my life- she truly is the love of my life. I raised, trained, and cared for her myself, and I genuinely think of her as my child. Being separated from her while I’m in the UK (she’s currently living with my parents) has been incredibly hard. In the meantime, I’ve been filling that little dog-shaped gap through numerous dogs I have met in parks, house sitting and dog walking, caring for a wide range of personalities and breeds, from large, energetic Flat Coat Retrievers to anxious, clingy Dachshunds. I’m confident adapting my care to suit each dog’s individual needs, temperament, and routine. I work from home four days a week, so I have plenty of flexibility for walks, companionship, and attentive care. I genuinely love getting outside for fresh air, and there’s no better company than a happy dog. Your dog’s safety, wellbeing, and emotional comfort are my top priorities. I hold myself to the same standard of care that I expect for my own, loving, patient, attentive, and always putting their needs first.

I always follow each dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs. This includes feeding schedules, walk times, play, rest, and any specific instructions provided. I believe consistency is key to helping dogs feel safe and settled. In a pet owner’s home, I’m respectful of their space and aim to keep everything just as they left it. I make sure dogs are exercised, fed on time, given plenty of affection, and never left feeling lonely. I’m also happy to water plants, collect mail, or keep the home generally tidy while you’re away. Safety and wellbeing always come first. I’m vigilant on walks, careful with doors and gates, and attentive to any signs of stress or discomfort. I also send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and well cared for. Every dog is treated with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own.

Elise was great with our cats, and very communicative. It was great to have a pre-meet to understand the medication requirements - we really appreciated that. Highly recommend Elise with your animals.
Elise was great with Benji and he had a lovely day with her. She was really friendly on the meet and greet and took time to get to know us and Benji’s quirks. He’ll definitely be back for doggy day care soon ☺️
Elise is one of those rare people who dogs seem to trust and adore instantly. She has such a natural, joyful connection with them, the kind you just can’t teach! She’s attentive, patient, and treats every puppy as if they’re the most important dog in the world. With Elise, you always know your dog is safe, loved, and genuinely happy. She really takes the time to understand what each dog needs to feel comfortable and part of the family. When they come home, they’re calm, content, and you can see in their little faces that they’ve been so loved. Any dog would be lucky to spend time with her!
Elise is a wonderfully caring and reliable person who absolutely adores dogs. She already helps a few dog owners by stepping in whenever they’re busy or away, whether that’s taking their dogs for occasional walks, having them stay with her, or even staying in their home. Every dog she looks after is treated with genuine love and attention, and it shows! I couldn’t recommend Elise more highly for anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their pet.
Elise is lovely and loves dogs. She’s looked after my golden retriever, Douglas, on several occasions, some just taking him for a couple hours while I’m out for the day, other occasions overnight. Douglas absolutely loves her and she has taken such great care of him. He’s been equally happy staying at Elise’s home and when she watched him while we were on holiday for 2 weeks she stayed at our house so that he could be in his own space. We’ve never had any problems when Elise has looked after him and she’s always been extremely helpful and accommodating if we’ve needed her to keep him for a little bit longer or drop him off early. Would highly recommend her
Elise, has a heart of gold, provides a brilliant time for the dogs, knows what she's doing, and is worth every penny and then some! She is professional, yet easy going. She is a really kind and lovely person who is a pleasure to interact with. Overall, Elise is a safe pair of hands to leave your pets too. I highly recommend! Shall not disappoint.

Schedule
Because I work from home four days a week and have a 3 day weekend, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I’m able to offer regular walks, consistent companionship, and detailed check-ins throughout the day rather than just quick visits. I enjoy building my day around walk breaks, outdoor time, and play, and I genuinely look forward to having dogs as part of my normal routine.
