I work from home as a freelance web designer so I’m able to sit in with pets for the majority, if not all, of the day. I take regular breaks from my computer, and these are the times I love nothing more than taking a walk or having some enrichment time with my pets.

I approach pet care in the owners home with the respect it deserves - you’ve put your trust in someone you don’t know and that’s not easy. I’m a tidy person and believe in leaving a place as you’d like to find it. More often than not, I’m available to stay in at daytime, but if not - I make sure to check back for feeding times and trips outside. I’m very attentive and the care of your animals is top on my priority list.

Pet care experience
I’ve been a professional pet sitter in my local area for the past few years and have had such fun doing it (as you can see from my photos!). When my digital marketing job become fully remote and my capacity for clients increased, I joined Rover. My family have had both cats and dogs my whole life, but from the age of 10 I became more involved in their care. I’ve got experience with young and senior pups and am able to read body language and behaviours. I’m confident in administrating medication, feeding, walking and of course, playing. I’ve currently got two labs, my childhood dog was a boxer cross springer spaniel, and I’ve cared for everything in between, so I’m not fussy on breed! 😊

We were worried about leaving our dogs with a house sitter as we have never done this before and it was a bit of an experiment. We need not have worried, Elise arrived early and was very confident with our dogs which put us at ease before we left. Elise sent through photos during the day to show how content the dogs were, particularly Jack who can be a handful if you don't know what you are doing with a large breed puppy. Elise has a very calm relaxed way about her that ensures that the dogs are calm and content too. The experience was top notch for both us and the dogs and we would certainly recommend Elise to any owners who need to use the house sitting service.
Elise sent photos and information regarding my dog’s welfare which gave me peace of mind which was very reassuring as he is quite old with some health problems. He looked comfortable and happy having Elise’s company. She left the house clean and tidy.
Elise has been great with our high-needs Frenchie, providing patient, attentive care and keeping us updated every step of the way. We feel completely at ease knowing our dog is in such loving and capable hands.
