On every walk, I make sure dogs feel safe, relaxed, and engaged. I allow plenty of time for them to pause and sniff—their way of exploring and enjoying the world. I keep a consistent 0.5 mile loop that provides routine and comfort, while still making each walk enriching. My focus is on balancing gentle structure with the freedom for dogs to be dogs, so they come home happy, calm, and fulfilled.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, my first priority is safety and trust. I follow each pet parent’s instructions carefully and make sure pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I maintain a calm, consistent routine—whether it’s feeding, walks, or playtime—so they feel secure while you’re away. I have my own reliable vehicle and a clean driving record, which gives me flexibility to get to your home safely and on time.

Elsie was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. She took my dogs for a walk in the neighborhood. The dogs had a good time and we will be requesting Elsie to walk our dogs again.
Our 20-mth old Goldie took to Elise instantly, so that was a good sign. On one visit, Charlie had a really upset stomach. Elise communicated the issue and stayed a little longer to give our pup some extra attention when he (and I) really needed some extra help. Elise has been great!
Elise took care of our 2 dogs for 2 days. We had left instructions on feeding as one of our dogs is a on a specific diet and can't eat kibble. When we provided Elise with these instructions, she said that she reviewed it. However, when we got home we noticed that our dog wasn't eating, she vomited 8 times, and very lethargic. I messaged Elise to see if the dog got into anything unusual and after a few more questions, Elise said that she gave both dogs kibble (even though we left instructions not to). We ended up having to take our dog to the vet and it cost us over $2,000 to get meds for a very severe pancreatis (which is why we had her on a special diet), and having to take a liquid IV fluid every day. Her liver is also impacted. It would be great if Elise can pay more attention to the guidance provided as it ended up making our dog really sick. And if she had any questions during the sit, she could have easily reached out.

Schedule
Caring for pets fits right into my routine. Between hiking, running, and looking after my own cat and lizard, I stay active and consistent—so dog walking and pet sitting are a natural extension of what I already love to do.
