I've had pets my whole life and started being a bigger part of their care since I was 14! I have been pet sitting for other people for at least 8 years, consisting of dogs, cats, birds, and hedgehogs. And while I don’t have as much experience with reptiles I still love to work with them! I've worked with both young and old pets, giving medicine, providing physical help, and cleaning up accidents when needed. I've done drop in visits and walks but most of my experience lies in live in care (house/pet sitting). In college I did do some limited clicker training for older puppies that would go on to be taught to be service dogs. I’ve also got experience with caring for multiple pets at a time! I’ve personally had 3 dogs at once and professionally have done multiple 2 dog 2 cat jobs among other configurations.

As of now I am only offering home-stays, so the environment is dependent on my clients. I adapt to their needs in what I need to provide and do for them and their pet(s). In home care can consist of feeding, walking, medicating, playing, spending time, looking after, and addressing anything that arises. It can also mean taking in the mail and watering plants. I am adaptable and just request that clients provide me with the information of how to give their pets and home the best care, as they are the ones who know them best.

Elise watched our three dogs over the weekend. Booking was easy and the boys had a great time with her (the photos proved it). She managed our dogs with no issue. We would definitely recommend using her!

Elise has been our trusted petsitter for over 3 years now. She is great with our large dog, who can sometimes be a bit stubborn on walks. She also won over our shy cat, who shocked us all when he first let Elise pet him. She has even kept an eye on our hens when needed! Although we’d love to keep her to ourselves, we recommend her to friends and neighbors on the regular.
Elise is an outstanding pet and home sitter, providing quality and loving care to our pets while we were out of town. She went above and beyond to to take care of an at home emergency while out of town, requiring late hours of tending to a repairman’s work. She even was flexible enough to take care of a friend’s pet in our home while we were not there. Very responsible and a highly recommended pet sitter! As an added bonus, she even cleaned our carpet of dog fur and cleaned our dishes!
Elise is a wonderful pet caregiver! It’s so hard to leave our fur babies, but leaving them is easier when we know Elise is watching them. She’s an avid animal lover and takes great care of not only our fur baby, but of our house too. We had an AC incident and didn’t have to stress over vacation because she took care of it for us (we scheduled appt, she was there to see it through). Talk about above and beyond! Also love that she sends pet updates with pictures. She’s great at following special instructions regarding administering medicine and other precautions, both pet and house related. She’s very popular in our neighborhood with the pet parents, as she provides excellent service and care to all of our pets, so if you’re looking for someone to love on your fur babies and take excellent care of them, reach out to Elise before she’s booked up! So grateful we were able to book her for our most recent July vacation. Thanks, Elise, for taking such good care of our babies!! I’m currently attending a program with flexible lab time and my work is remote, so I have plenty of flexible time to spend with your pets! On top of that I am also a homebody so your pets will get plenty of quality together time!

- Let me know if your pet has any medication or special needs and/or behaviors, and if they are reactive to other dogs or have any other triggers such as mailpeople so I can keep an eye out and avoid them. Important command words are also good to provide as they can differ per dog. I also like to know your expectations for communication as some people prefer a daily check in with photos and others are fine with just occasionally touching base or doing so on an as needed basis.
