Pet care experience

Ease your worries while traveling

Growing up I had a pet dog and two pet cats! From as early as the age of ten I was looking after friends pets and neighbors while they go out of town. My own dog growing up was a schnauzer named schnoozle, who had the personality of a 80 year old man. He was so loving, calm, and independent. I then had a half pomeranian half poodle named coco. She was a diva with a huge personality. She ran the house, was very small but demanding in the best of ways. Now I am 30 and have my own 9 year old cat Gandalf. He is the healthiest and happiest cat you will ever meet. I also take care of a 3 year old 80 pound Shepard mix half the time! I co-owned a border collie/ausssie shepard mix for two years. She was very high energy and loved play. So I am use to critters large and small. I love working with dogs!! They are the best excuse for exercise and fun to play with! Your dog will have a very fun day care like experience with plenty of walks and rounds of fetch. If they like to be cuddled even better! I have sat dogs with health issues before so if special handling is required no task is too difficult. Would love to befriend your dog and spend some quality time together.

I highly recommend Elise as a pet sitter. When I brought home my puppy, Mary Lou from the shelter, she quickly became one of the most important people in Lou’s life. We were living together at the time, and because I often worked long hours, she spent countless hours caring for, exercising, and loving Lou as if she were her own. She also had a cat named Gandalf, and watching the friendship that developed between Gandalf and Mary Lou was a testament to her ability to create a calm, loving environment for animals. She was always attentive to their needs, patient with training and routines, and genuinely enjoyed spending time with them. What stands out most is her sense of responsibility. I never had to worry about whether Lou was being cared for, getting enough exercise, or receiving affection and attention. She is dependable, trustworthy, and truly understands that pets are family members. Anyone looking for a caring and responsible pet sitter would be lucky to have her looking after their animals.

I have known Elise for many years, being best of friends with her parents. I have seen the love she has for all animals, including her cat which she cares for as royal family. An energetic and soft and loving personality, there would be no one I could think of who would care more for someone's cherished pet than Elise. Heck, she just drove her sister's pet across the country coast to coast, after her sister was relocated. Her sister did not want to fly her dog, so Elise volunteered to escort the doggie across the country into her hands. Believe me when I tell you, your pet will be in the best of hands.

I trusted Elise to watch my dog for 2 weeks while I was traveling out of the country. She has a natural affinity for animals and bonds easily with cats dogs birds etc. She understands that pets have individual needs and picks up on those cues quickly and accordingly. I recommend her for short term or long term pet sitting and am happy to be contacted for a reference.

Elise has cared for our pets for many years. She is loving and very attentive to the pets needs. She connects with both dogs and cats. She personally has been a cat owner most of her life. Her current pet, Gandy, who is a 9 year old cat thrives. She is responsible and carries through on whatever the pet needs. She is able to give medication to both dogs and cats. She can also do overnights!

Elise was amazing to work with, easy to communicate with and her cat Gandalf is a lover. He will love you if you feed and cuddle him. He loves to go on adventures and explore. Elise is great about making sure he has the best time with whom ever he gets to hang out with fir the time being, lots if food and cat treats and some toys are provided, even if he seems to love the empty boxes the most! I’d love to cat sit for her again and hangout more with Gandalf!

Elise has watched my dog Benny countless times. They have truly created their own loving bond and she is one of the few people I truly trust to watch him. He is 90lb and requires long walks and has a very sensitive belly with many food restrictions. Elise has always accommodated his many needs. I’m thankful we have her in our lives for when I cant be home!

Pets

A typical day

A typical day with a dog or dogs is wake up or come to house and immediately let the dog out in the morning, then getting breakfast for the dog and let them chill after eating a little. Then a longer walk to get the day going followed with some play. This could be going on hike, biking with your dog, going to the dog park, etc. This basically on repeat until dinner time or bedtime. I challenge myself to run out a dogs battery so they will sleep very sound. Cats, it really depends on the cat! If they love love they can have all the scratches and kissed all day, if they're standoffish I let them chill. Anything special you want for your cat I will oblige

Important to know what your pets typical day is, any allergies or huge dislikes, they spot they love the pet :), and a little about their personality would be a great start!! Of course all the details for care but I also love to know what type of personality and attitude I'm going to get from the fluffs! Makes it so entertaining and funny. Great to make your heart happy.
