Hello! I’m Elise and I’m a lifelong animal owner and a volunteer with Friends of Strays Animal Shelter. I’ve lived in St Pete for almost two years now and am looking for ways to meet more people and engage with the thing that brings me the most joy - animals. I’ve been volunteering with Friends of Strays since January 2025 doing animal care and helping with events and it’s been the most fulfilling experience. I love dogs and cats, but currently have a rescued 8 year old cat named Izzy. I’d love to meet you and your furry family members!

I am adaptable to whatever your animal needs. I’ve had animals with more complex needs, requiring close monitoring and tricky feeding schedules. I’ve had several elderly animals who have similar complex needs that frequently change. My main philosophy is comfort and love towards our furry friends, at any cost.

We had such a great experience! Elise stayed in our home with Bones while we were on vacation and took wonderful care of her. Bones can be pretty shy and nervous with new people, but she was so patient with her and completely won her over. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Bones was comfortable and well cared for while we were away. She also kept us updated throughout the stay with messages and photos, which we really appreciated. We would absolutely trust her to watch Bones again and highly recommend her!

Elise was available without much notice and I felt lucky to get her. She did a midday walk and did a terrific job. I would hire her again. The dogs loved her!
