I've had my own golden retriever for 5 years now and have spent my life with and caring for other pets. My dog has enjoyed constant attention and love and exemplifies a gentle and playful attitude toward other pets. Though no backyard, we frequently go for neighborhood walks and to nearby dog parks. Our household also has plenty of toys for share that would keep your pet entertained and stimulated while you're away. I would also ensure that you're updated frequently on the status of your pet and be attentive to any preferences and/or accommodations you may have.

I don't feel good leaving a negative review here but considering the circumstances I don't really think I have a choice. I booked Elise to watch my cat while I was away for five days, with the understanding that her partner would be the one dropping in since she wasn't available. I got back from my trip last night and the litterbox hadn't been scooped the entire time I was away. It was literally overflowing with waste to the point where my cat had started peeing next to it because there wasn't anywhere left inside it to stand. I spent an hour and a half scrubbing the floor and the moulding to try and get rid of the cat pee smell and it's still not fully out; I think the floor might be permanently ruined. Also the fridge was left open, a can of empty cat food was left rotting on the counter, and the wet food was continually piled on top of one single-use plate all week that was never switched out, so my cat was eating her meals off of a pile of days-old caked-on meat. The idea of my cat living like this for almost a week makes me so sad and I really feel like I failed her with this booking. Again, I hate leaving this negative review, but our animals do so much for us and ask for so little, and the baseline level of care and empathy that was present with every other sitter I've booked - and absent here - is the very least they deserve.

Elise was great - she has experience with other dogs, including her own, and supported our puppy throughout the walk. We will be sure to book with her again.
Elise was excelent long term sitting over the holidays. Our two large dogs loved her, and she handled them very well. Easy going, friendly and professional. 10/10 would highly recommend Elise for future sitting.

Schedule
I work 9-5 on the weekdays but have plenty of flexibility to ensure your pet is taken care of both inside and outside. I will spend time with and provide constant attention to your pet, with additional stimulation given by my own dog.

I have a spacious, smoke-free apartment where my 5-year-old Golden Retriever enjoys roaming. Your dog would be walked on leash and taken out multiple times throughout the day for pee and play. My home is a safe environment with visibility to ensure your pet is in good hands.
Pets
A typical day
I intend to take dogs to the dog park and play fetch in the driveway. This would involve both indoor and outdoor activities. I would, with approval, give physical and mental stimulation like lick mats to your pet (peanut butter, Greek yogurt, bananas, etc.) and encourage gentle behavior.
