Pet care experience
I've given much love and many cuddles to cats and dogs for 4 decades! I grew up with two chocolate labs in the midwest. I helped train them as puppies, swam with them in the summer, and played fetch in foot-high snow drifts in the winter. While I don't have any dogs now, I frequently walk my friend's wolf-esque husky mutt around the Mission and a lab/whippet mix in Golden Gate park. I have experience with stubborn dogs and I am attentive and fully-engaged while walking. I keep my eyes peeled to avoid "SF street snacks" and am careful that dog/human interactions are appropriate based on what your dog needs and the vibe of other folks walking pets.

Beth has walked our dog Lucy many many times and she is outstanding!! Very communicative, will send us updates and let’s us know how the walk went. She cares for our dog like Lucy was her own. She has even gone the extra mile to calm our dog down on a day when there were fireworks and Lucy was hiding under the couch. Gave us updates, and after some belly rubs convinced our dog it was safe to go outside for her walk. She asked about all our dog’s habits and things to watch out for. (Our dog scavenges street snacks so you have to pay close attention when walking and we totally trust Beth to walk her). Punctual and responsive. 10/10, will absolutely book again!
