We’re a family who loves animals. We have two kids, but dependent on the situation we can keep the kids separate from animals as needed. Our kids have lots of experience around animals and understand the need to give animals their space. I have a spacious home with a great fenced yard that is secure and safe for your pup to get their energy out. We also have a great neighborhood for walks and like to take them frequently. We do have a cat, she gets along okay with dogs, she mainly just ignores them and goes about her daily business in denial of their presence.

Their temperament, their diet, and their routines. It’s important for me to maintain consistency and reduce their stress when you’re away. I want to know as many details as possible about their life with you so I can do my best to keep them calm and content while you’re away.
A typical day
Playing fetch in the back yard, walks to the dog park (if you’re okay with that!) lots of snuggles and ear scratches. I also practice gentle training, and will likely work with your pets while they are in my care unless you request otherwise. My goal is to send them home happy and better behaved than they arrived.

I have many years of experience with all sorts of animals from dogs and cats to lizards and hedgehogs. I also have experience caring for livestock, chickens, sheep, and llamas. I’ve trained puppies and older dogs. With a flexible schedule, I’m there for your pets at times you aren’t able to be. I have experience handling various dietary needs as well, raw food diets are no problem, I also offer medication administration. I also have experience handling giant breed dogs. For longer stays I’m more than happy to provide baths and brushing. All care includes snuggles and play time.

Elisabeth took the most amazing care of my two cats, and gave me sweet and detailed updates (with photos!) every day. Her attentiveness and obvious care put my mind totally at ease every moment while I was away! I have one cat who is very skittish and shy and Elisabeth made sure to check in with me about what she might need at every step of the way. My kitties were getting exciting play time, grooming, feeding, and loving attention with every visit, and on time every time!! I could really tell that it made a huge difference in reducing their stress levels, compared to other times I’ve been away and left them in the care of sitters who weren’t as considerate about disrupting their schedules or playing with them. I returned to find them happy, healthy, shiny, and excited to see me. I didn’t imagine I could be so comfortable leaving my beloved babies in someone else’s care, but I have no reservations knowing that Elisabeth cares for them as if they are her own. I will not hire *anyone else* but Elisabeth again to care for them! I wholeheartedly recommend her to everyone who is searching for a pet sitter who truly cares about and loves animals.

I would definitely recommend Elisabeth, she has taken care of our dogs, including puppies too. They are always well cared for and seem happy with her. She always does a good job of keeping them well behaved too. She has also cared for our chickens, sheep and llamas, even bottle feeding the baby sheep when needed.
Elisabeth has cared for my cats multiple times, she is great with them and accommodates all their needs, including their special raw diet. I always feel confident leaving my pets with her, she treats them like family.
