I have always loved animals. When I was nine years old I found 5 puppies under a shed - without a mother. I carried them home to get them to a safe environment. I brought many lost dogs and cats home. I am also American Red Cross CPR certified for dogs and cats. Your dog or cat is a very important member of your family !! I will do everything necessary to keep them safe in my care.

I have a friendly dog Noway and live in an apartment with my husband Mark. We also have a dog park close by. Noway is a gentle sweet dog. He loves people and dogs.

Elisabeth is amazing! She came to meet my pup, took her time with his shyness, & asked lots of questions. She was early each day and left a detailed Rover card with pictures upon leaving. I felt so much better about leaving my pup at home knowing he was safe in her hands! Getting to see pics of him and a report about how he was doing has been a delight. I definitely recommend her for your pet needs!

Elisabeth was so incredible! Cannot recommend her enough. She watched our angelic yet clingy Siberian 1.5yr old cat every day for a week for an hour plus. My partner and I were going out of town for the first time since we adopted him and were extremely anxious about leaving him. A friend of ours had recommended Elisabeth, so we interviewed her and she was the obvious choice! Once we left, she was communicative with how Wally was doing and updated us with photos every day. Upon our return, he was happy to see us but it was clear he wasn’t starved for attention! It made us feel even more at ease that he clearly hadn’t been stressed about our absence at all. In a world out there where trusting your little one to someone else (and having them in your home) can be scary and anxiety-producing, you def want someone like Elisabeth taking care of them. Hire her!
Elisabeth is a lover of all animals. She has taken care of several dogs and cats over the past 40 years. As she has now moved from the east coast to the west coast, she still finds a calling to nurture dogs in her retirement. Anyone would be lucky to have her walk their loving pets.
In order for kindness, commitment and love to prevail in our world, we need more Elisabeths. She is a remarkable human being who inspires others. She gives way beyond expectation to projects that she commits to, and she LOVES animals. I am so excited for her in this new endeavor as she shares her love of pet caregiving with the animals she will be working with through ROVER.com

Schedule
I retired from nursing and teaching January 2026. I spend time with my grandchildren but looking to spend more time with dogs and/or cats. I have a flexible schedule.
