Experienced & Loving Sitter!
Hello! My name is Lucy, and I’m so excited to welcome your pup into my home! I have over 12 years of experience working in the pet care industry, including roles at two dog daycares, a veterinary hospital, and a puppy store. Through these experiences, I have gained extensive knowledge of canine behavior, health, enrichment, and providing individualized care for dogs with different needs. I am Dog First Aid Certified and Dog CPR Certified, with experience in medication administration, senior pet care, and animal hospice support. While I now work from home as a social worker, I continue my passion for caring for animals by running my in-home boarding business through Rover. Because I work from home, I’m able to provide plenty of supervision, attention, playtime, and a comfortable routine for the dogs in my care. I treat every pup like they are part of my family and strive to create a safe, loving, and enriching home environment where they can feel comfortable while their owners are away. I would love the opportunity to meet your pup, learn about their personality and routines, and provide them with the care, patience, and love they deserve!

Lucy was amazing with my Golden retriever, Chip! She provided photo updates daily, a meet and greet before booking, and even accommodated us when we had an unexpected travel delay. We will definitely be booking her again!
Lucy was super responsive and sweet. Her pups got along well with mine. Would highly recommend!

Schedule
I provide a structured, safe, and fun in-home boarding experience for dogs in my care. My home operates more like a small, personalized daycare rather than traditional boarding, with a maximum of 5 dogs per day so every pup receives plenty of attention, supervision, and care. Throughout the day, dogs follow a consistent routine that includes frequent outdoor play, enrichment, social time, and scheduled quiet time indoors to rest and recharge. I believe dogs do best with a balance of activity and downtime, so I provide opportunities for them to play, relax, and feel comfortable in a home environment. For meals, all dogs are fed separately to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable during feeding times. Owners only need to provide their dog’s food — I provide everything else, including bowls, toys, blankets, bedding, and other supplies needed for their stay. When I need to leave the home for errands, meetings, appointments, or my daughter’s activities, dogs relax in our designated boarding room. This space is set up specifically for boarding and includes comfortable beds, blankets, toys, and fresh water so dogs have a safe and cozy place to rest while I am away. Cleanliness and safety are a top priority. Between each stay, all areas are sanitized, bedding is washed, bowls are cleaned, and supplies are refreshed to provide a clean environment for every dog. I am home most of the day with my 3 year old daughter, which allows me to provide frequent supervision and interaction. While I do occasionally leave the house for necessary activities, I maintain a structured routine so your dog has a safe, predictable, and comfortable experience.

A typical day
A typical day in my home is structured around a balance of play, enrichment, and rest. Dogs start the day with outdoor time, potty breaks, and opportunities to socialize and explore. Throughout the day, they enjoy supervised play sessions, activities, and plenty of time outside, followed by scheduled quiet time indoors to relax. Meals are served individually so each dog can eat comfortably and safely. I follow each dog’s normal feeding routine as closely as possible to help them feel at home. Since I am home most of the day, dogs receive frequent interaction, attention, and supervision. When I need to leave for errands, meetings, or my daughter’s activities, dogs relax in our designated boarding room with comfortable beds, blankets, toys, and fresh water. Every day is a mix of activity and downtime so dogs can enjoy a fun, calm, and predictable routine while they are away from home. My goal is for every pup to feel safe, loved, and cared for throughout their stay.
