I have been serving Wilmington/ Leland area for 2 years now. My flexible schedule as a wedding florist works great for drop ins and lunch walks throughout the day. It truly brings me so much joy to visit new pups and build a relationship with my weekly clients I cherish so much!

Any private information shared in bookings will be kept confidential and if you have any concerns or specific requirements I will do my best to make any request work! In the unlikely event where these skills are needed I like to reassure owners that I do have veterinary medical knowledge and know how to take vitals necessary to make sure your dog is in great health such as heart rate, respiration rate, capillary refill time, temperature and other basic signs to know if your pet is feeling under the weather and you will be notified immediately. I treat every animal as if they were my own and this career field has been my life for as long as I can remember, I would love to meet your fur babies!

A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks and playing with their favorite toys if there is an open dog park or yard available at the home! One thing I love to add during home sits or drop in visits is some mental stimulation. This is so beneficial for pets especially when they are a little more stressed than usual with their family gone, so I use lick mats, kongs or verbal training to wear their mind out which releases stress and keeps them busy for hours!

I have been animal sitting since I was in grade school, I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Science, and I have been a veterinary technician for a few years. All of this concludes to having many years worth of experience with handling and caring for dogs, cats, small animals and birds! I am proficient in medicating, bathing, trimming nails, diabetic animal care, mental stimulation for your pet and of course pets and cuddles. I am very attentive to details so any small or large request you want me to follow to keep your dogs schedule the same I will follow; including exercise and food preparations. I have learned a lot about animal behavior in my college classes and working at an animal shelter where shy to petrified pets would come in with a background of living in poor conditions. From those experiences I learned how to speak and approach scared animals to make them feel comfortable and respect their boundaries at the same time to build a positive human-animal bond and gain their trust.

Elisa was absolutely amazing with Luna! The way you reacted so quickly when that dog attacked! AMAZING! It didn’t even have a chance to bite her just slobber got on her back.. This lady right here will go above and beyond to protect and care for your babies!! Thank u for all the photos and video of her from each trip as well, you gave me such peace of mind knowing she was in GREAT hands!!! I will HIGHLY recommend you !!
