Highlights
Pet care experience
Warm & kind family home
I studied pet care in college and have had dogs my whole life. I currently do a lot of training with my own dog, including gundog work, nose work, and agility, so I’m very used to working with dogs in a calm, positive way. I’ve cared for a wide range of breeds over the years, from Rottweilers, German Shepherds, and XL Bullies to Jack Russells and Chihuahuas. I spend a lot of my free time outdoors hiking, camping, and walking, so dogs in my care get plenty of fresh air and stimulation. I’m gentle, caring, and kind, and I always take time to let dogs settle and feel comfortable, especially those who need a little longer to warm up.

Ratings and reviews
Tillie had the best time and was well cared for and looked after by Elina. We got regular updates from Elina. Tillie enjoyed it so much and is looking forward going back next week.

Elin is an amazing dog sitter Penny loves going and she always sends regular updates and changes her plans with dogs flexibly depending on the weather when it is too warm and goes forest walks when it is super rainy. This is the second time we have booked with Elin and would definitely book again!

My dog, Penny, had the best week staying with Elin and her family. The communication from the start was excellent and got regular updates.

Elin and her family were fantastic sitters for Sox. He loved being with them - to the extent he might find being home with me a bit boring now :). No, seriously, Elin sent me lovely pics of Sox getting cuddles from the kids and going on long dog walks. She's a very organised person too, you can just tell. Thank you Elin and will definitely be back.

Our Australian Labradoodle went for a first stay with Elin for three days and Penny settled well. Elin sent regular updates and videos and took penny to a secure field as well as the coast for a walk. We would recommend Elin.

This was Ollie’s second stay, and once again, she was absolutely fantastic! It’s such a relief knowing he’s in such caring and capable hands. She kept us updated with messages and photos, and it was clear Ollie was happy, relaxed, and enjoying himself just as much as the first time. He settled in so well, which really shows how comfortable he feels with her. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and will definitely continue booking with her in the future!

Schedule
I’m home full time as my youngest hasn’t started nursery yet, so your dog will have plenty of company and won’t be left alone for long periods. I’m very flexible and happy to work around your dog’s usual routine, including feeding times, walks, rest, and play. Your dog will be cared for in a calm, relaxed home environment with lots of attention throughout the day.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have two dogs of my own. My older dog spends a lot of time with my in-laws as she’s getting older, so she isn’t always in the home. I also have a 6-month-old Spanish Water Dog who is very friendly with both dogs and people. I also have a cat who is very dog-savvy and used to being around dogs. I have a fully fenced garden and can work around whatever makes you and your dog feel most comfortable, including introductions, separation if needed, and individual routines.

A typical day
I keep things fun and suited to each dog. That usually means walks, lots of sniffing, playtime, and hanging out together. I love being outdoors, so dogs who enjoy longer walks and fresh air get plenty of that, but I’m also happy to keep things calm for dogs who prefer a quieter pace. I also like to mix in simple training games, nose work, and mental enrichment to keep things interesting and engaging.
