Hi! I'm Elijah and I'd love to care for your dogs whether you're going on vacation or simply need a sitter for the day. I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely).

Our Teddy had a great 10 day stay with Elijah. Elijah made the whole process easy and smooth. He’s a caring person and sent pictures to us and updates. It really gave me peace of mind knowing he was in good hands and with someone that genuinely loved animals. Elijah was taking care of one other pet plus his three and they all got along fine. He even washed Teddy’s bed before we picked him up. Definitely will use him again! Thank you Elijah!
Elijah was very professional and provided at least one update per day along with photos. Elijah made the whole process very easy; he was quick to respond, very accommodating, and appears to have taken great care of our pup. I would definitely use him for future needs.

Elijah was so great with our dogs and very professional! He sent us updates and photos the entire time! Our dogs loved him. This was our first time doing a service through Rover but he did not make the situation uncomfortable at all, we were fine leaving our puppers with him for the three days. Elijah was great with our Chihuahua! He took great care of her, sent updates and pictures while we were gone, and she was happy and clean when we picked her up. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a dog sitter!

Schedule
Tuesday and Thursday are the two days I have a class and I'm always home after that! The class is only 2 hours long so any guest pets won't be alone very long at all. I'm home all day every day otherwise!

Safety, trust & environment
The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate, you can bring that as well for me to use if this is how your pet is normally kept while left alone.

A typical day
I have a fenced in backyard for exercise, bathroom breaks, and playing. I also occasionally go to a nearby park, and with owner permission of course, guest dogs can come along!
