Experienced Home Care + Fenced Yard

Welcome! My name is Eli, and I provide experienced, home-based dog boarding and daycare in Atlanta. Caring for dogs is a full-time part of my life—not something I fit around another job. With more than 15 years of hands-on experience, five years operating my pet-care business, and hundreds of successful Rover stays, I understand that every dog has a different personality, routine, and comfort level. Dogs stay with me as part of the household. They enjoy supervised time in my fully fenced yard, comfortable indoor spaces, plenty of affection, and a dependable daily routine. I introduce dogs thoughtfully and consider their size, temperament, and play style so everyone can feel comfortable. I welcome dogs of all sizes, from small companions and seniors to energetic larger breeds. I’m also experienced with oral and injected medications, special-needs dogs, and dogs that benefit from a little extra patience. What you can expect: 🏡 Full-time, home-based care 🌳 A securely fenced yard 🐾 Thoughtful introductions and compatible play 📷 Regular photo and video updates 🛏️ Comfortable, home-style sleeping arrangements ❤️ Experienced, attentive care from someone who truly knows dogs Meet and greets are always welcome. I want you—and your dog—to feel completely comfortable before the first stay.

🚫🚫🚫Never booking again. My chocolate lab and yorkie mix stayed with Elias. Rover is investigating. Elias didn’t tell me my dog was attacked by another dog. He hid it and cleaned my chocolate lab’s wounds before pickup. I noticed after I left and took my dog to ER. Deep wound gashes at the base of both ears and under floppy part of ear. He didn’t put 7 medication bottles in a safe, out of reach place. All bottles, except one, got destroyed. The bottle that was not destroyed nor touched by a dog was missing the phenobarbital pills. He didn’t have an explanation. How could 12 pills be missing? I picked my dogs up a day earlier as well. He never apologized, instead I apologized bc k knew he was upset. I didn’t want him to take his anger out on my pups. And I had to ask if they needed medical attention regarding the pills. And he just said no. Really gross behavior and communication from Elias.

Great communication. It was a last minute booking for us as we were passing through in a road trip and needed someone to watch our pup while we went to the aquarium. Only met Elias, but he was friendly and helpful and my dog seemed to do just fine there. Definitely recommend

These guys are top notch! Clearly knowledgeable and understands dog behavior. Very laidback, easy people to deal with (which is nice nowadays) and had great communication. Seeing all the pictures of Pumpkin enjoying the company of other dogs was very nice. 10/10

Very positive experience, professional, sent pics, and my dog was worn out from all the playing. Will definitely use again on my next trip to Georgia

Schedule

Dog care is a full-time part of my daily life, allowing me to provide a consistent routine and plenty of attention throughout each stay. I follow each dog’s normal feeding, medication, potty, and sleeping schedule as closely as possible while giving them a comfortable balance of play, companionship, and rest. To keep the home calm and predictable, I schedule most drop-offs and pick-ups between 7 AM and 8 PM. If you need a different time, let me know in advance—I can often accommodate it.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. My home has a securely fenced yard, comfortable indoor spaces, and separate areas available whenever a dog needs quiet time or a break from play. I introduce dogs thoughtfully and consider their size, temperament, energy level, and play style before allowing them to interact. Food, medications, and personal belongings are stored securely, and each dog’s care instructions are followed closely. You’ll also receive regular photo and video updates, so you can see how your dog is settling in and enjoying their stay. Every guest is treated with patience, affection, and the same attentive care I would want for my own dog.

Pets

A typical day

Mornings usually begin with supervised time in the fenced yard, followed by breakfast and a chance to settle in. Throughout the day, dogs enjoy a comfortable mix of outdoor time, play, toys, companionship, and rest based on their personality and energy level. Some dogs love socializing and exploring the yard, while others prefer relaxing inside near me. I adjust the day to help each dog feel comfortable rather than expecting every guest to follow the same activity level. Evenings are quieter, with dinner followed by calm play and time to wind down before bed. Dogs sleep comfortably inside my home. I use a crate only when requested by the owner or when it is already part of the dog’s normal routine. My goal is to maintain a dependable, home-style routine so your dog feels secure, cared for, and at home while you’re away.

Before your dog’s stay, please tell me about their normal routine, previous boarding experience, and how they typically behave around other dogs. I also need to know about any medications, allergies, feeding instructions, separation anxiety, resource guarding, escape attempts, chewing, excessive jumping, or other behaviors that could affect their care. Please be open about anything your dog finds stressful or uncomfortable. The more I know beforehand, the better I can prepare and help them have a safe, successful stay. You can also let me know if you’re interested in adding transportation, a bath, or a blow-dry to the reservation.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
