Highlights
Pet care experience
Your dog’s next-favorite human
I grew up with two silky terriers and have done a lot of overnight dog-watching for friends and family. I've walked leash-reactive dogs before as well, so I'm keen on making sure dogs with special needs are met! I've otherwise been with dogs most of my life and would love to be your best friend’s newest pal.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
My house is dog-proof with a small enclosed patio instead of a back yard. After walks we usually just play a bit and I do low key activities like TV to keep an easy eye on the dog.
Ratings and reviews
Eli watched our dog, Fitz, for a month while we arranged for Fitz to move to us. Eli did a great job with taking care of him and communicating with us. Fitz is leash reactive so Eli has experience with walking and taking care of reactive dogs. Fitz loved staying with Eli.
Eli has watched my dog on numerous occasions and has always been so great with him. My dog got plenty of attention and love when he was with him.
My dog's name is Ned and Eli is one of his favorite friends. Ned is a setter that is high in energy and really excitable dog who often is unpredictable on walks. Eli has skillfully mastered making walks fun and exciting for Ned while ensuring there is no risk to Ned and others safety (Ned jumping up on people). Eli demonstrates a lot of patience with Ned and I've never seen or hear him get frustrated with Ned (despite Ned being quite the handful). I would whole heartily recommend Eli to look after your best friend / trust companion, they will be in great hands and both of them will have a lot of fun together. You pet will come back exhausted and happy!

Schedule
I work from home 2 days per week, so while I’m busy most of the day, I can take periodic breaks to take your dog out for walks or pee breaks.
- 0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsover 101 lbsElias can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- I err on the side of always keeping the dog on a leash for walks, even if they're off-leash trained. I'd like to know if they're friendly with other dogs or humans so I can know what routes to take and what to avoid! Otherwise, any special needs are good to know as well.
