Samson was Eliana's dog first from 2010 - 2015. It was love at first sight when Samson met Josh in 2015 and, after we got married, Samson was the start of our family. We have added 4 children to our family in the years since. Our sweet Samson passed away in May of 2023 and we aren’t ready to commit to another dog yet but love caring for yours! Having dogs in our home has been a joy for the kids and us. Joshua is home for majority of the day with our three youngest children. Sometimes we have appointments out of the house, but for the most part, we spend our days at home or outside playing in the garden. Our 4 young, active kids, would love to be able to play with your pup throughout the day! We have a spacious, fenced-in backyard and utilize baby gates to restrict access to areas of our home where dogs are not allowed on furniture. We are able to crate your dog if needed/preferred. Since we do have young children, your dog must be comfortable having little hands pet them and offer them treats. Your pet will have constant companions, attention, and love!

This is the second time that I've booked my senior dog for a week-long stay with the family. I recieve updates once per day. All medications were given on time. This stay, when loading into the car after pickup, I immediately noticed an overpowering smell of urine. Her bed and onesie were both covered with dried urine. She needs to wear a sock on her back foot to prevent scratching a wound: though I provided 4 socks for a week-long stay, her sock was never changed. It also reeked of urine. My dog has no issues with incontinence or communicating a need to go outside and I see no reason she should have been left to let urine soak into the bed. I made it very clear at dropoff and during my trip that I was communicative and available for any questions.
Glory had such a great time - she stayed with Eliana and Joshua before. We will continue to come back as long as they have availability whenever we need help with Glory in future. She felt like a second home with the family. We were also getting photos and timely update to stay connected while away from Glory. Thank you Eliana and Joshua for being wonderful with our fur child. Eliana, Josh & family were all wonderful. I have never left my dog overnight anywhere and I felt comfortable knowing my dog was in good hands.
Coco boarded with Ileana this weekend and it's proven to be a great experience for him and us. I'll be honest. we didn't have all good experiences here in Rover but this one was exceptional. We almost requested last minute and they were able to accommodate us. On top of it, I missed the food that I ordered for Coco nd had to request them to make a run and purchase. They helped us without any hesitation. They repeatedly sent pictures of Coco being taken care. They loved Coco and he seemed to have loved them more. So I would happily board Coco with them and not have to worry of him being taken care when we are out of station. Thank you, Elaine and Joshua

A typical day
We love to spend time in our backyard! We have a vegetable garden and the welcome shade of a giant oak tree so dogs love to lay under the shade on a warm day, or run around the yard. We live 2 blocks from Pickwick Park and enjoy taking walks to the park and around the neighborhood!
