I also make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and walks (if they’re the active type!) or cozy downtime if they prefer to relax. I also like to know if they have any favorite toys, treats, or comfort items so I can help them feel at ease while you’re away. Every pet is different, and the more I know, the better I can adjust my care to make them feel safe, happy, and at home.
A typical day
It really depends on the dog’s personality and energy level, but I love taking dogs on walks, playing fetch, and spending time outside if they enjoy it. I also think mental stimulation is just as important as physical activity, so I like incorporating enrichment like treat puzzles, training games, or interactive play to keep their minds engaged. I live just steps from the beach, so I love walking dogs along the sand or letting them play in the grassy park near my house—it’s a great way for them to explore and enjoy new sights and smells. Every dog I’ve cared for has had their own personality and needs, and I genuinely enjoy adapting to each one’s lifestyle. Dogs only know what we show them, so it’s important to me to give them a fun, loving, and well-rounded experience whenever they’re in my care.

Pet care experience
I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and have had the joy of helping care for several family dogs over the years. Whether it was going on long walks, playing in the backyard, or just making sure they felt safe and loved while their people were away, being there for them has always felt natural to me. I know how important it is for dogs to get their energy out and feel secure in someone’s care, especially when their routine is disrupted. That’s why I always aim to create a calm, loving environment and give each pet the attention and affection they deserve!

Eliana was responsive, attentive, and accommodating. She sent photos of my pup being comfortable, played and cuddled him and made me at ease.
Eliana was amazing with Rusty and Mia. She was very responsive when we sent questions, loved on our pups, sent us pictures during their stay. Mia LOVED her stay so much she didn’t want to leave Eliana’s place and hid under her coffee table when we got there to pick them up. We highly recommend Eliana and will gladly leave both with her if needed in the future.
