Every pet whether weeks after birth or precious moments into wise age deserve love, compassion, and patience. I believe that the way we treat pets, animals even, can be a reflection of our empathy for those we can't quite communicate clearly with, but understand at our basis that we all need to be cared for. Our relationships with our pets is just like with one another, a two way street where we both give and take, but ultimately want us both to be happy. I've cared for all sorts of animals, from young puppies and geriatric hounds to feisty felines and ferocious beasts (a bearded dragon). No pet is too sick, scary, or unworthy of the care and time needed to express our love for them and what they provide for us. I've shared my time with plenty of aged pets and helped provide comfort and support in the last of their time here with us.
