A Small Dog's Cozy Kingdom
Our home consists of 2 small dogs and 4 dog-loving people. My partner Annie and I have been taking care of dogs other than our own for several years. Small dogs are our specialty, and we understand their special needs. Your pup would receive all the exercise, social time, affection, and protection that they need. We are both artists that work from home, so your dogs will have plenty of company and supervision. Our own dogs are friendly and playful, & we think of them as family rather than pets. We make their food ourselves, and offer food preparation and consultation as additional services. We usually take our doggies on three daily walks: two 40 min walks to the nearby park or around the neighborhood, and a shorter 15 min evening walk. However, we are also willing to accommodate to your dog's specific needs. Happy to send you daily photo updates. * Ask us how to make your own dog food! We will show you how to make it easy and affordable * ** A note to our out of town guests: It's flea season year-round here in SF, so you might want to consider giving your dog some flea medication before you are in town. Great stay! Clearly Marley was well taken care of there! They are very flexible on timing of pickup and drop off which is super helpful for changes in plans!!
We couldn't have been happier with Coopers first stay with Eli. He's a very shy boy and Eli, her partner and her other little pups made every effort to make our little one feel comfortable. In no time he settled in and felt right at home. Eli very kindly sent daily updates and photos reassuring us of Coopers well-being while we were 1000s Mike away. We also really appreciated how responsive and flexible Eli is . We'd be more than happy to have Eli dogsit again for our next trip :-)
I was out of town and had my roommate watching my dog. I had arranged for my roommate to drop of my dog with Eli as he was going to have to leave town later in the week. I scheduled well in advance but a day before the drop off I was informed that Eli had gone dark and wasn't responding to messages, calls or texts. Being out of town, I panicked! Luckily I was able to find a last minutes dog sitter who was able to take my dog for me. I later received a message that Eli's phone had been stolen and then there was a phone charger issue. If taking care of someone's living animal I would have hoped that Eli would have borrowed another phone or gone to a public computer to respond and let me know what was going on. Very disappointed with this experience and would not recommend trusting your pet with Eli. Non-responsive is a no-go.
Highly recommended especially if you want to find sitters that pay special attention to your little dog. Great communication and was easy to coordinate drop off and pick up. Will definitely book again!
Eli is a total pro. Always easy to work with, quick to respond to messages, and keeps our puppy very well loved.
My dog had a wonderful stay with Eli and Annie. They are so caring and kind and I felt relaxed knowing Diego was in good hands. Super happy with this stay. Will definitely book them again?.
