I was born and raised around dogs, think Lassie or Air Bud. My dad trained dogs, so I understand caregiving and presence. Now, I work for myself from home full-time, nurturing the animals in my care. Quick story: One day, I noticed my mom’s chihuahua-papillon mix, Jacques Cousteau, scrunching his face as he tried to eat crunchy food. I went to PetSmart and brought home the healthiest soft food I could find. When he braced himself to bite into it but didn’t hurt his old teeth, he ran over and jumped onto my lap, licking my whole face until I was laughing, knowing he felt seen. He gained a few pounds over the next few weeks (6 pounds to 9, 50% more!). I was so happy that he could eat again without pain. He lived to be about 15 years old! For a chihuahua, that’s a very long happy life. I will treat your dog like it’s my own. Please share any special care needs with me.

Not only does Eli have a wonderful energy and easy personality, but his ability to read a dog is incredible. From just one photo he could tell my dogs' exact personalities and from the moment he met them, could gauge exactly what they needed. He communicates fantastically with animals and I think any dog left in his hands would be well taken care of.
Eli is an extremely caring, compassionate individual who always goes the extra mile to help out a friend. He is responsible, dependable and a great human being. Recommended!

We treat them like family and have 4 responsible adults who share the space, all love dogs. Our yard has a 6-ft fence and a very cozy home.
A typical day
I love playing, taking them on walks, and would love to try teaching them a new trick. We go out in the yard and might take a job on our private road. Giving special attention all day.
