I highly recommend my wife as a cat sitter to anyone. While I may be biased, there is a reason she is my wife and I consider myself very lucky. Elenore grew up with cats and her mother worked as a veterinary technician for a period of time, so caring for animals has always come naturally to her. She also works in science and holds a PhD which shows in how attentive and detail-oriented she is. She has a lot of hands-on experience working in labs, so she can provide an almost veterinary level of expertise when it comes to administering medications and maintaining routines. Ele is quick to notice subtle changes in behavior or health and is very reliable when it comes to monitoring trends and following up on things. She will always err on the side of caution even if it requires extra effort. Beyond her experience, she is an empathetic person who genuinely connects with animals. Cats bring her a great deal of joy and she treats every pet with an abundance of love, patience, kindness, and respect. Our cats have special needs and she’s played a large role in improving their health and maintaining a high quality of life ever since we adopted them. She has a very intuitive understanding of cats and often understands and is able to remedy when they are “misbehaving.” As someone who did not grow up with cats, I can honestly say she is the reason I came to appreciate and love them. There is no one I would trust more to care for a pet.
