When caring for pets I try to follow their usual routine, if they have one, to help them feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they have fresh water, food and plenty of attention, play and exercise. During walks, I prioritise safety at all times and ensure dogs are handled calmly and responsibly.

A typical day
A typical day can include a nice walk where I choose safe, peaceful areas and when possible, places with nature where dogs can explore and enjoy themselves. I love letting dogs take their time to sniff, explore and enjoy their surroundings, while also including play and exercise suited to their energy levels and needs. I understand that every dog is different, especially as they get older. For senior dogs, I make sure walks are at a comfortable pace and don’t push them beyond what they can manage. If they need extra support, I’m happy to help in any way I can. Having had my own dog for almost 19 years, I’ve experienced every stage of their life and understand how important it is to be aware of their age, personality and individual needs.

I’ve been caring for animals since childhood and grew up in a very pet-friendly environment. I had my own Dachshund for 19 years, as well as parrots, so I'm experienced with both dogs and birds. My extended family also had cats and dogs and I've looked after pets for friends as well. I also have experience with puppies, including helping care for litters when my dog had her own. From a young age, I've felt comfortable around all kinds of dogs, including strays that I looked after and I naturally build trust with them. I provide calm, attentive walks and care and l always treat each pet as an individual, making sure they feel safe, relaxed and well looked after.
