Hi everyone! I’m so excited to be a part of Rover and can’t wait to meet you and your pets! I’m a pre-vet student with a lifelong passion for animals. I’ve grown up around them and have spent the last three years working at an animal hospital as a veterinary assistant. There, I worked directly with doctors handling medical records, patient restraint, vaccine administration, owner communication, assisting in surgeries, and helping with a variety of treatments. I truly love caring for animals and take pride in creating positive experiences with each one I meet. To build on my experience, I completed a year-long Veterinary Assistant Certification Program, the WSU Scribe Certificate Program, and earned certifications in OSHA safety, animal restraint, medical terminology, and animal science. I'm currently enrolled in additional animal science courses to further my education and hands-on skills. Right now, I’m an intern at the Whitman County Humane Society and also volunteer at Pullman Regional Hospital. I’ve cared for a wide range of animals including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, mice, snakes, fish, goats, and horses. I also have strong knowledge in reading animal behavior and signs, which helps me provide thoughtful and attentive care. Stay information: I live in a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment with my boyfriend here in Pullman, WA. Since I live in an apartment, I only take one dog at a time during boarding stays to ensure they get all the attention, love, and care they need—without the added stress of other dog interactions. If I’m not home, my boyfriend is, so your pet will rarely ever be left alone for long. Animal care is truly my passion, and I strive to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! 🐾

Bodi had a wonderful time and was well cared for by Elena. She took him for multiple walks, played all his favorite games and kept him healthy and safe. I was able to enjoy my visit out of the country knowing Elena was taking care of Bodi. She is going on my list of caring and reliable boarders.
Our dog stayed with Elena when we went out of town for six days and she took such great care of him. She took him on a lot of walks, and sent daily updates. I could tell she really cares about animals and our dog seemed so happy. She also noticed that he was scratching his ears a lot and gave us a recommendation on what to use for that. That was so helpful! I would definitely recommend her for your dog boarding and/or sitting needs.

Elena was amazing! She was very interactive with our dog,Luna, and very communicative with us. She sent videos and pictures daily. Elena was also very accommodating to some schedule changes we had to make.
Elena did an awesome job watching our dog over night. She kept us updated and made the experience very easy and smooth. Our dog (who is very shy) took a quick liking to her and was well taken care of. Id highly recommend her if you need a night off dog duty.

Schedule
I’m a full-time college student, but in my free time, I absolutely love working with animals! Since moving to Pullman, I’ve been away from my childhood pets, so I definitely need my animal fix. 🐾 **My general availability:** * **Monday:** Classes from 9 AM–2:30 PM. * **Tuesday:** Class from 9–11:30 AM, with a longer lab later in the afternoon. * **Wednesday:** I’m in classes and lab from approximately 9 AM–5 PM. * **Thursday:** My lightest day! I only have class from 9–11:30 AM, making Thursdays a great day for doggy daycare. * **Friday:** I’m in class from 9 AM–2:30 PM and then work from 6 PM–midnight. * **Saturday & Sunday:** I work from 6 PM–midnight, but I have the entire morning and afternoon available! In the nighttime, my roommate should be home so they will still have company. For now, I’m only watching dogs that I have previously watched. I know my availability is a little less flexible right now, so if these times don’t work for you, no worries! I should have much more availability after January. I don’t have my schedule for next semester yet, but I’ll have a better idea closer to December and will update everyone once I know my schedule. A typical day
While taking care of your pet we will do various fun activities I hope that by the time I leave your pet is tired out from how much fun they had! A ton of play time with their favorite toy, treats (if allowed), activities to keep the brain busy, and a ton of love and pets will be provided at every meet! I will definitely make sure to send adorable pictures of your pet as well! NOTE: My one roommate does have a yellow lab service dog in training. He’ll be with us until November. Please make sure your pup is okay with a doggy roommate for possible interactions.
