Dog care: My family has always had dogs, and I love learning about dog breeds. I have experience administering pills, injections, and I have taken care of a handful of senior dogs with lots of medical needs. I have spent time with 10lb dogs, 180lb dogs, loud dogs and quiet independant dogs. I have also spent lots of time training my dog and the dogs of family members. My background as a graduate student in biology and animal behavior helps me understand what your dog needs, as I have practice interpreting the expressions and behavioral cues of dogs. I am adaptable and patient. Other critters! In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience caring for exotics as well! I have owned birds, rabbits, hamsters, rats, snakes, fish, and even some insects. If its hard to find a sitter for your exotic, I bet I can help!

Elena is truly the best! You can tell how much she loves animals and had a really strong connection with my special needs cat. She also was able to watch her last minute which was a godsend and did such a great job with care and updates. Thank you Elena, will be rebooking!! :)
There's so many things wrong it's actually insane. We were gone for 6 days and on the last night before she left that's when she decided to tell us everything wrong such as our puppy had been throwing up for a few days, when we left she was perfectly fine. Told us all the stuff they got into and she just happened to be in another room not watching them so she couldn't prevent it. Then we come home and let our dogs outside to the bathroom and our strictly indoor cat is outside overnight. We got told by our neighbor to literally never hire this girl because they saw our dogs just left outside for hours and also that she just left the door open constantly which explains why our cat is now sprinting outside the second the door opens which he never paid any mind to before. The only good thing she did was do the dishes, for some reason took time to try and make the house look good maybe to cover up the shitty job she did of taking care of animals.

Elena helped me out of an emergency situation with my pups. She was amazing with them and they absolutely adored her.

I pay attention the the specific needs and behaviors of your pet. I am patient, understanding, and I give animals the space they need to build trust with a new person. I won't force cuddles on your pet unless they want them, I will always do my best to meet your pets emotional needs.
