Hi, I’m Elena! I’m passionate about making sure cats and dogs feel happy, safe, and loved while their families are away. That being said I don’t accept services with aggressive or reactive dogs due to an incident where I got nipped and was not informed about aggressive tendencies. I’ve cared for everything from playful kittens to wise senior cats, including shy or formerly feral kitties who need extra patience. I’ve even managed households with four cats at once, balancing different feeding schedules, litter box routines, and social needs. For dogs, I make walks fun adventures, ensure they always have fresh water, and give them plenty of playtime and cuddles. I’m also comfortable giving oral and topical medication when needed. I’m a firm believer in following each pet parent’s instructions to the letter, while also giving lots of affection and attention so your pets feel like they’re spending time with a trusted friend. Whether it’s a romp around the block or cozy window‑watching with the cats, I love helping pets feel right at home.

I treat every pet like family! While I’m with them, we play, cuddle, and I make sure they’ve got food, water, and plenty of love. When I leave, I double‑check that all cats are inside, dogs aren’t left alone outdoors, and doors are locked so everyone’s safe and cozy.

Elena is seriously the best. She was flexible with us when our flights had issues and sent lots of pics. It was so nice to be able to relax on our trip and not worry about our boy!

Elena was very sweet and ended up doing great with our dogs after the first day. However, day of arrival for Elena she was significantly late and dogs did not end up going out until almost 4 hours after intended time. We had done a meet a meet and greet, explained our dog would react to her coming in initially and had him behind a gate and explained to give him a treat, etc so he can see her. She felt all this was fine and agreed. Day of, dogs were very hungry as it was way past their dinner time, needed to go out badly, and she refused to let them out as she was fearful. We had talked about how the dog would react and I am not sure if it was worse because they were agitated about needing to eat and go out and she was just here not letting them? But was on the phone with her and did not even hear our dog bark? Anyways, we had to call another neighbor to actually let our dogs out! They did exactly what we had asked her to do and all was fine! Gosh, it was just a mess! After she agreed to stay (which I am not sure what we would have done if she decided to leave!) and dogs were out, she did great, and dogs were fine... Not the most relaxing way to start a getaway with family! Elena is very sweet, just may be a better fit for completely docile pups.

Schedule
I’m a student at Colorado School of Mines and have a part time job, which means I have a pretty flexible schedule but may be called in for coverage on shifts. Despite this, I make plenty of time during the day to spend with your pets and ensure they get fed, let out and walked on time. Caring for them is one of my favorite parts of the week! I love taking dogs on walks or hikes to get their energy out and give them a chance to explore. I love cats and make sure they get plenty of playtime and cuddles too, so they never feel lonely. Whether it’s check‑ins, house sitting, or dog walks while you’re at work or on vacation, I make sure every pet gets the exercise, love, and attention they deserve when you trust them with me.
