Wij hebben het erg getroffen met Elena. Ze was super lief voor Bikkel en ook ondernemend. Ondanks dat Bikkel terminaal is heeft ze echt alles uit de kast getrokken om er een leuke dag van te maken voor Bikkel. Bikkel was zeer actief die dag, ondanks dat hij zo ziek is. Wij waren echt de hele dag weg en kregen de dag door mooie foto's en informatie over Bikkel. Wij merkte aan Bikkel dat hij rustig was en niet overprikkeld was toen wij thuis kwamen. Elena is een echte aanrader. 😊
Elena was amazing with our cats. She literally made our vacation care free. Our cats were happy to see her and she has spent quality time with them.
Elena provided incredible service for my two cats, they're both indoor cats that thrive on attention and play, which she provided expertly. I was able to leave on a 2 week trip without any worries thanks to her daily updates, knowing that my cats were being cared for and loved. Elena is amazing! We were quite hesitant to ask a stranger to take care of our cats, but we immediately felt at ease after meeting Elena for the first time. She’s a very attentive and kind person and not only is it clear that she loves cats, it’s also clear that cats love her. Both Lilith and Mars immediately came and greeted her upon her arrival, which is rare for them. While we were on holiday, Elena sent updates including pictures & video’s everyday. The cats evidently loved having her around. It was so nice to be on holiday stressfree because of Elena! We will definitely ask her to come again for our next trip! Thank you so much :)
Elena heeft een week voor onze twee poezen gezorgd. Eentje is nogal schuw en ze heeft met enorm veel geduld en begrip voor haar gezorgd, iedere dag kregen we uitgebreid verslag van haar. We zijn ontzettend blij dat ze zo goed voor onze poezen gezorgd heeft. Voor een volgende keer gaan we haar zeker weer vragen!

Schedule
I currently work a part-time morning job, which gives me good flexibility in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care, including walks, visits, playtime, feeding, and companionship. I can also adjust my schedule in advance to fit your pet’s routine when needed.

I always prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and routine, whether I’m caring for them in their own home or during visits. In a pet owner’s home, I follow all instructions closely to keep the pet’s environment familiar and stress-free. I make sure they are fed on time, have fresh water, get the right amount of exercise and attention, and that their usual routines are maintained. I also keep the home tidy and secure, and I’m very mindful of keeping doors, windows, and any hazards properly checked. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and boundaries, so I can interact with them in a calm, respectful way that helps build trust. I always make sure pets feel safe, never rushed, and comfortable at their own pace. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive care so pets feel relaxed and well looked after while their owners are away.

A typical day
A typical day with the pets I care for depends on their personality, energy level, and routine, but I always aim to make it balanced, fun, and comforting. For dogs, a day usually includes one or more walks where they can explore, sniff, and enjoy their surroundings safely. I like to vary the routes when possible to keep things interesting. Depending on the dog’s energy level, I also include playtime with toys, fetch, or gentle training games that keep them mentally stimulated. Of course, there’s also plenty of time for rest, cuddles, and companionship so they feel relaxed and not alone. For cats, I focus on interactive play sessions using toys that match their natural instincts, like chasing, pouncing, and hunting-style games. I also make sure they have calm companionship, gentle attention, and a peaceful environment where they can feel safe. Some cats enjoy affection and lap time, while others prefer quiet presence, and I always adapt to what they’re comfortable with. Across all visits, I make sure feeding, fresh water, and litter or toilet needs are properly taken care of, and I always keep an eye on their well-being so they stay happy, safe, and relaxed while their owners are away.

- It’s very helpful for me to know in advance about any medical conditions, allergies, or medications your pet may have, including clear instructions on how and when to administer anything they need. I also appreciate knowing about your pet’s daily routine, such as feeding times, walk schedules, bathroom habits, and sleep preferences, so I can keep everything consistent and familiar for them. Behavioral notes are important as well, for example if your pet is shy, anxious, reactive to other animals, or has any triggers I should be aware of. It’s also useful to know how they usually respond to new people and whether there are any boundaries (like not being allowed on furniture or needing space during rest). For dogs, I like to know how they behave on walks, whether they should be kept on or off leash, and how they interact with other dogs or people. For cats, it helps to know their hiding spots, comfort zones, and how they prefer to be approached or handled. The more I know in advance, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe, understood, and comfortable while in my care.
