Information Elena & Jan D. would like to know about your pet
I'd just like to know the basic things. Are they up to date on shots and fixed? Are they on any medication? Do they have any health problems (including worms, ticks or fleas)? Is there any special needs? Has the pup had any training etc... Anything you'd like to tell me would be great too. For stays inside my home: Males over 6 months MUST be neutered/females over 9 months MUST be spayed. I cannot accept any dogs in heat. If a female comes into heat during a stay there will be an additional fee of $10 per day. To keep the house as peaceful as possible we can't accept any dogs that are dog/people aggressive (food aggressive dogs are fine. They can be fed alone), excessive barkers, fence jumpers, runners (bolting for/out the door), diggers, or that are high energy. Max weight I normally accept is 40lbs. and/or 20" at the withers/shoulders. On the rare occasion we do take a dog in larger than 40lbs. and/or 20" withers, there will be a $10-20 fee increase. Please ask for fees. There is a slight fee increase for: • Special needs dogs • Medication • Larger than 40lbs. and/or 20" withers/shoulders. • Daily dog day care also available for a reduced fee. No age limit. ***Sorry, but I can't take in Chows, German Shepherds, Akitas, Siberian Huskies or Shiba -Inus.

Here's where we'll take our walks Since I have a huge fenced yard which allows the dogs to get plenty of exercise I do not take them for walks. I don't want to risk anything happening out of my home. Your dog's sleeping arrangement I like to keep dogs in as much of their normal routine as possible. They can usually sleep wherever they would at your house whether that's in the room with me (on or off the bed) or in a kennel. Time I'll spend with your dog As much time a they want. My roommate Jan F. is also a 5-star Rover sitter. One of us is almost always here. My little dog Trip loves to play with all dogs and never tires out.

Loving, gentle, experienced...
Pet care experience
I love dogs! I have always lived with at least one plus cats, birds, reptiles, fish and other small creatures. I have also worked with a variety of rescues, helping walk and train dogs as well as fostering in my own home. I live in a large, two-story house in a quiet neighborhood. I have a dog door and a large, fully fenced yard. Your dog will have a great time hanging out and playing with my very social, very friendly pups. My goal is to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I always recommend you bring a couple familiar things (like a bed or blanket) and I try to keep their normal routine the same as they are used to. And of course, they'll get tons of love, kisses and scratches. I have a really great roommate, Jan, I've known for over 30 years, and shes a total animal lover just like I am. She's also a 5-star Rover sitter. We co-sit together so the pups get tons of attention. Drop-offs start at 10:30am. NO EXCEPTIONS. Pick-ups can be as late as 11pm. Arrangements may be made for later pick-ups with advance notice. Phone calls are mandatory before all pick ups and drop offs for the pup's safety in our home. Max weight I normally accept is under 40lbs. and/or 20" at the withers/shoulders. On the rare occasion we do take a dog in larger than 40lbs. and/or 20" withers, there will be a fee increase. Please ask for fees. Holidays tend to be busier than normal because of our repeat clients. Only one new client is permitted during holidays. About this sitter: After over two years of sitting dogs in my home with my roommate, I am now also offering to care for pets in your home. Why I love dog sitting I have always loved dogs. I have owned and cared for dogs since I was 5yrs old. I trained and showed dalmatians for several years. I have also volunteered with several rescue organizations, walking dogs and even fostering dogs in my own home. Meet my pets A tortoise & geckos. About my yard I have a very large, fully and securely fenced (over 6ft) backyard. It is all grass and there is lots of room for them to run and play fetch. I have a dog door so they can go out for bathroom breaks. The dogs are always supervised whether it's just doing their business or out for play. My experience administering medication Absolutely. I can administer oral, nasal, ear, eye and injectable meds. Please ask for fees. I work from home so I’m here pretty much all day. My roommate also sits so we’re around a lot. We don’t have guest over. We have a big front room with 7 dog beds and two sofas. We also have beds in our rooms. We have tons of bones and toys to play with and a huge fenced yard.

Great stay

Rusty always has a great time.

Thank you for taking good care of Zeke and Dottie! They had a great time!

Elena and Jan take great care of my dog each time he is with them. They send great picture updates of him and their little pack, and Mylo comes home happy and relaxed at the end of each stay
