Walks, Training and Playtime!

I grew up with 2 dozen animals, but my favorite were our 3 dogs (Bailey, Katie and Daisy). I want to share my love with a dog who needs it. Once in a while I will take your pet to my parents farm in Monroe for them to play and run around. I was born a year of a dog, and that's how I am able connect with them (I like to think that). I like to include cuddles during our time together, because I know it makes both of us happy. I am looking to building a relationship with a dog, and hopefully when we meet again to share excitement of being reunited once again. I am looking forward to meeting your best friend and create that fun, warm and safe environment for your furry friend.

Elena - you truly are the BEST!! Thank you again for taking Benny with you today and giving him a fun, stimulating experience! You make our lives so easy by picking him up in the morning and dropping him off in the evenings. We love getting all of the pictures throughout the day to see all of your adventures. Thank you for prioritizing the walks, treats, and sniff / potty breaks and letting us know how he’s doing throughout the day. We’re so thankful we get to work with you!

Our animals were neglected. We have a senior dog who has specific needs—such as low/nonfat foods and no snacks. I gave Elena written, clear instructions. Among other things, I identified this no fat dietary need and his desire to eat cat toys and other objects. We left for a long weekend and Elena was to stay at our home. When we returned, we found a puddle of diarrhea on the carpet with one of the cat collars he ate. I later found the plastic clasp of that collar chewed up in the living room, as well. It was chewed into small pieces—something that would be a loud noise and easily heard (and a behavior stopped).. I also found areas in carpets where there are stains that are from diarrhea that’s been “cleaned up” and a pile left as is. Although a senior dog, Bentley would explode before he peed or pooped in the house unless there were no other options. This makes me wonder how much time Elena actually spent with them. When cleaning the backyard, I picked up one poo that had something else Bentley ate. It’s not something we have in our home, so it was something she brought over that he ate. As well, yesterday (the day of our return), Elena said Bentley would not eat breakfast. This happens on occasion, and he just needs to eat a bit at a time throughout the morning. The bowl does have to be put away because the cats try to eat it, so it does involve a bit of time on the human’s part. I informed Elena, and she said she understood. However, when I was messaging her regarding my findings when I got home, she said Bentley didn’t want at his breakfast, so she added shredded cheese to his food to see if he would eat it. I explicitly told her there could be nothing with fat due to chronic pancreatitis. Now I cannot be sure he didn’t eat anything else throughout the days we were gone. Today, the day after our return, Bentley can barely walk. He’s weak and won’t eat. I He can with only a few days away, I can see weight loss in Bentley and one of our cats. They were not well cared for. If you have a pet with specific needs or you need someone to pay attention to their needs and behaviors, you should look for someone else who will truly care for them.

Elena provided excellent car of our dog, especially with our dog's severe separation anxiety and containment phobia. Care of the house was fair and secure. Her communication was very good. Elena is a great person to care for your pet.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or takes medicine. Knowing their favorite toys to play with would be helpful. Or even if they have a particular activity that they like to do.
