About Nova

Nova is very sweet, good with other dogs, cats, people and horses. I have an interview in newtown for those days and then im heading north to drop her off with family for the summer. She loves to be pet and cuddled but can be aloof in busy situations. She likes to hangout at your feet, on her bed or the couch. She loves to run and play with other dogs but thrives off of human attention. She is very bonded to me and may just spend the time by the door looking sad. I would be able to come by in the evenings to walk her and visit if allowed. She will walk on the leash and doesnt pull but may need direction (will zigzag to good sniffing spots). She can slip her collar if scared but i can provide a harness and you can tighten her collar for walks on the road. She lovveeess hiking, like to wade in water. Nova loves to roll in dead things and tolerates being washed but will be very apprehensive of the bathroom/tub. She can be picked up without aggression. Normally she rides out with me and the horses, following along and comes to being called and a whistle (treats help reinforce it). She can be aloof around puppies, sometimes she will like to play but she will mostly just walk away and make her own space. She will growl to ask the other dog to stop if they are incessant but has no bite risk and does not escalate.
