I work full time in the Medical Center (some days - from home). I live in a condo in a safe, quiet gated Community with pleasant green space perfect for exploring with a dog. I have no dogs or cats at home. I have a gentle observant 8-year old boy, who is cautious with furry friends. My husband also loves dogs, and helps out sometimes. I am not ready to add a dog as a permanent member of our family, but I do want to help others find solutions for short-time care during traveling or other life situations when dogs need a welcoming temporary accomodation.

I do not take more than one dog at a time. Your fur friend will be a guest in our 2-storey condo with a patio. They will stay on the first floor during the night. Just across the road from the complex is a jogging trail, where dogs are allowed on a leash, and I will be happy to take your dog there for a walk/run. In a walking distance there is a Helix park, which I would also like to take your friend to, given sufficient time on the weekends.

Please let me know any important information about your dog. How do they react to other dogs walking by outside? Other people who want to say hello or give a pet? Our Condominium has several dog owners, so it would be great to know what to expect if we meet them. Feeding and treat distribution instructions and preferences are also welcome.
A typical day
In the morning, around 6:30 am, we will go to either a running track across the road or explore the territory of the complex. Breakfast will follow. During lunchtime, we will have another half-an-hour walk. In the evening, around 6 pm, we will enjoy playing together and walking once more. For the night, your fur friend will stay in a crate in a quiet living room. On weekends, we can go walking (or driving) to Hermann park, or Helix park, or the Bayou, weather permitting.

Pet care experience
I have raised a perfect lap family cat brother as a teen. Friends and neighbors know to ask me to care for cats, dogs, chicken, and even a horse, when leaving for vacations. I have a parakeet and a finch, who are best buddies, living with us for the last 4 years. Last addition is my rescued leopard gecko, who has been with me for about 2 years now.

Elena has been the best sitter for my Frida. She took care of her with attention and love, bringing her for walks every day and even bringing Frida with her for the 4th of July family celebration. She was responsive and always available to send me pictures and updates. I would rely on her every time I need someone for Frida.
Elena took very good care of my fur baby and shared pictures amd daily updates. Thankful she was in good hands throughout.
She did a great job communicating and sending pictures. She made sure she followed Bella's schedule for walking and eating.
Elena was a fantastic sitter for our Frenchie. She was very attentive to our dog's needs and communicated to us throughout each day with updates. We definitely will use her services again! Highly recommend!
