Since I live with cats now, and my roommate often travels, I have become comfortable with regimented animal routines and cat mannerisms/behavior. Our cats are 6 and 2 with FIV, and we are attentive to litter boxes, playtime needs, and diet. I understand cat behavior better than ever, especially with their cuddle or distance needs.

I will take time to get to know the animal before coming in with any “tried and true” methods. Every pet is different, and needs to be respected. I would give them a separate space and feeding area if needed, and I try to give chances to pets to warm up if needed.

We’ll play lots of games, your pet will get lots of attention if they so desire, and likely quite a few treats. I always try to let the animals tell me what they want or need!

I grew up with dogs in my family and taking care of dogs for my neighbors. My family began fostering dogs in our home in 2014, ranging from elderly pitbulls to chihuahua puppies. I have cats with my roommate now, and have experience cat sitting in other homes.
