I am an experienced petsitter with more than ten 5 star reviews from another platform. I work remotely for a hedge fund and I am a researcher at the British International Institute of International and Comparative Law (London) so I work from home and I will be available to play and cuddle with your pets basically all day. I have experience handling big dogs (even 4 at once) and anxious dogs or cats, or dogs and cats that require special medications/ treatments. I graduated from Oxford University, and I spend my time between Oxford and London but I can travel anywhere in the UK as I have a car. I have experience in long-term petsitting (up to 7 months!) and I usually do long term housesits of minimum 3 days, but I am very flexible. I also own two beautiful houses in the vineyards in Italy and I had many guests staying over who enjoyed their stay, so I am an attentive and detail-oriented person and I know how important it is to take care of properties. I am a nonsmoker and I don't have pets of my own (that's why I love to take care of other people's pets!). Please note that often my partner, Anders ,may want to join me to petsit your animals (especially when he is visiting me), but in this way your animals would get double the love and care as he also works from home and is finishing his third book currently! He has a Phd from Harvard and an undergraduate degree in politics from Yale, but most importantly adores animals as well (and spoils them so much!). In fact we have more than 20 reviews available of us petsitting together and we have many recurring hosts on another platform who ask us back again and again. I completely understand if you'd rather not have him at your house so let me know if you are not comfortable with having him. So far everyone has loved the double level of attention and love that their pets have received from my partner and me. Please also note that, as a standard among experienced petsitters, I also charge the cost of commuting to and from your place, therefore the final booking price may need to get adjusted. The mileage cost is usually low and I have found that traveling with my own car adds an extra layer of peace and security for the pet owners. Looking forward to hearing from you! I work from home so I am usually very flexible - just let me know whether your furry one has specific requirements/ a particular schedule :) I particularly enjoy sleeping with pets and cuddling up with them, but of course I will respect the rules of the house/ training of the pets. So do let me know if you don't allow your pets to go on certain surfaces/ or only after certain commands (or on the other hand if you'd like your pets to sleep with me).

Elena was great with our animals! We enjoyed the pictures she sent, and they appeared very content when we arrived home. Elena took great care with our home too, bringing in deliveries for us and even leaving us some goodies to enjoy. We’ll be happy to book again with her!
I can’t say enough good things about Elena! We haven’t left our dog with a sitter for a couple years because of travel restrictions, so I wasn’t sure how she would do as she is very sensitive. She had no problem getting her out for walks and she warmed right up to her. We got regular updates and pictures of her and I felt so at ease with Elena caring for her. The house was left immaculate and I will happily book Elena when we go away again!
Elena provided excellent care for our anxious dog when we had to leave her for an evening. We received reassuring messages and pictures whilst we were away and came home to a very happy dog and a spotless house. 10/10 recommend :) thank you!!!!!
Elena was great! Astrid loved her and it’s obvious she’s a natural with dogs. She left everything really tidy and was great with photo updates and letting us know how they were getting on. Would definitely recommend her!
Wow! We recently moved and we were so worried about how our dog would cope with being alone with someone new. We came home to find a very excited and happy dog with a new toy. Not only that but Elena had baked us a stunning and unexpected cake and gave us a brilliant. I was speechless. Exceeding my expectations.

Schedule
I work from home doing geopolitical consulting for a hedge fund so there is nothing better than taking breaks and cuddling your pets. So that I can better plan my virtual zoom meetings, please let me know how long the walks of your dogs should be and how often and whether they are fixed or flexible. I am very flexible though and I strive to keep your pets' routine as much as possible. Usually it's very easy to keep their routine :)
