Could not be happier with Carly’s stay. A wonderful home with care that went above and beyond for a challenging dog.

Eleanor loved our pup like her own. Her house was a perfect place for him to meet some new friends and to play and run wild. He came home exhausted, loved and happy.

Peace of Mind while you are away.

Please note that while the Rover profile says we take up to two dogs, we can have up to 5, especially on the weekends. I can not take any dogs that do not get along with other dogs.

We have a large, fenced yard and a quiet neighborhood to walk dogs. We have a two young adult sons that love dogs and on occasion help us take care of the animals we welcome into our ...

What Eleanor would like to know about your dog

Your dog needs to be friendly with other dogs, friendly with strangers and be fully house trained, which includes accidents, counter surfing and chewing of household or personal items. We also like to know of meal instructions and any special needs. Walking habits help a lot, too. Do they pull, are they used to longer, shorter or no walks. We are able to handle food aggression, but we need to know in advance so we can be prepared.

When Eleanor watches your pet

Here's where we'll take our walks
We live on a somewhat secluded circle that is a half mile around. There is very little car traffic around this circle. We often take the dogs around the circle twice, or go a little further out of the neighborhood.

Your dog's sleeping arrangement
Your dog may sleep anywhere he/she is comfortable. If your pet is allowed on furniture, many of our guests sleep on the loveseat in the living room. We can also accommodate your own dog bed or kennel if that is what is best for them. We have dog beds in the living and dining rooms for our guest to get comfy on, as well.

Time I'll spend with your dog
We both work from home, so someone is usually home every day. We pay a lot of attention to our guest dogs and with our large, fenced in back yard, they can spend as much time outside as they want. During the summer, we have a flexible screen on the back door that allows them to go in and out as much as they want.
