I’m currently a remote worker with lots of daytime flexibility, perfect for dropping in on pups, going for midday walks and giving overnight stays the attention they need!

I live in downtown Belmont, a fantastic neighborhood filled with pet parents. When there is a pet in my home, I make sure that they have plenty of room to explore, rest and play. I personally allow pets on my furniture like the bed and couch but of course if you express that that is not allowed for your pet I will make sure they have sufficient rest space/equipment around the house. I check on the water frequently throughout the day and have a filtered water fountain for smaller dogs and cats. I happily follow any feeding guidelines a pet owner may have and do not give them other food or treats without express permission. I also have an XL and medium size crate as well as a puppy pen available if desired.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or accommodations that I should know about before caring for them. Please let me know how your dog acts around other dogs, their levels of reactivity and sensitivity to the environment, and their preferences for play/walks.
A typical day
I go for lots of walks throughout the day and will run with a dog if they are up for it! I also have plenty of time to play inside during the day as well. I make sure that nobody’s sniffing is rushed and they get as much stimulation as they want during the walks outside.

Pet care experience
I have had multiple pets my entire life including 2 dogs, a total of 5 guinea pigs, 2 bunnies and 6 cats. I have experience pet sitting for friends and neighbors for many years. I also worked at a petting farm for many years where I took care of ponies, goats, sheep and other farm animals. I work remotely so I am very flexible and can accommodate many different days, weird hours or quick adds or drops. I also have experience working with dogs that have been abused by previous owners and the complications that can come with that such as depression, reactivity, and health problems. I also have thoroughly enjoyed training my family's dogs (with positive reinforcement and a lot of patience!) and look forward to training my own someday. I can't wait to meet you and your pups!

Eleanor was absolutely amazing as a dog boarder for our two dog brothers! I felt confident that they were in a loving, supportive, and well-educated animal household the entire time. They got plenty of excercise too, which I know they loved (as they came back both tired and happy!). As newly-relocated Chicagoans, it feels great to have someone that we can trust while being here. Would thoroughly reccomend to anyone else looking for a sitter!
Eleanor and Jacob were amazing. Having a rescue with high anxiety, they were able to accommodate. They consistently asked for any advice and gave updates. I would highly recommend them as dog sitters and will continue to use them myself.
Ellie was great and provided consistent updates throughout the boarding.
