Experienced dog-sitter, soon-to-be animal carer
I have volunteered at the local dog shelter since I was 13 and looked after my own dog for 6 years. I have also shadowed a dog trainer, worked at a dog walking and dog boarding service and pet-sitted for multiple dogs at a time independently. I have also interned at a pet clinic and taken cat and dog handling classes as part of my university degree. I aim to work with animals in my future and have a lot of experience with handling dogs and cats. I have trained young puppies and handled older dogs and even dogs with behavioural issues. I have cared for cats for the past 3 months as a part of my work experience journey and would love to continue gaining any experience I can to work with animals. I am currently free every weekday to take on any pet caring roles at an owner's house. I can stay overnight occasionally and would love to spend time with your animal's during your busy work days. The best times for me are during 9am-5pm on weekdays and if I can't stay overnight every night, I will be sure to stay with your animals during those times of the weekday. I cannot care for pets within my own home but would be more than welcome to come visit an owner's home for a check in or a walk or pet-sit during the day. I have experience independently running a dog boarding service where I have looked after 11 dogs at a time so I am more than capable to take on multiple dog households. I will take dogs out on walks every 2-4 hours depending on their needs and be sure to keep them company when their owners are busy. I follow any feeding instructions from owners carefully as I understand that each dog has different needs and practice any training instructions given to me as well.

Eleanor was outstanding with our animals. It was really unfortunate and bad timing that both our dogs had bad tummy's from there yearly jabs but she was really professional about everything and kept us up to date with how they both were. The dogs really seemed to have a great time with her despite being poorly. The cats are easy but they were both really comfortable around her straight away. She sent us plenty of pictures and updates. Came home to a clean house as well so that's always a positive. Thank you again
Eleanor agreed to look after our lil rescue last minute and we couldn’t be more impressed. Came home to the happiest, most relaxed pup ever. She gave us updates and pics all day and was generally just brilliant. Thank you!

Eleanor looked after Betty and the house!, she gave updates on how Betty was each day. She got to know bettys quirks and understood her anxiousness around other dogs. I came home to a happy a very happy dog and would definitely recommend and use Eleanor again 🙂

A typical day
If there are any parks nearby your neighbourhood I can take your dogs to, I am happy to spend lots of time outdoors playing with them. I can also attempt any training instructions that have been previously set by the owners as I have worked with dog trainers before and successfully trained my own dog from puppyhood.
