We have a 15-year-old Jack Russell called Bella who suffers from separation anxiety and has a number of health issues. Since her brother passed away six years ago, we've never left her with anyone. After booking a concert in Scarborough for my partner, I looked on Rover to see if I could find someone suitable. Eleanor immediately stood out because of her fantastic reviews. We arranged to meet Eleanor near the beach to see if she and Bella were a good fit for each other, and we couldn't have been happier. If anyone was born to care for animals, it's Eleanor. She made such a fuss of Bella, took the time to ask thoughtful questions about how to care for her, and instantly put us at ease. Knowing how anxious we were about leaving Bella for the first time, Eleanor kept in touch throughout, which meant so much to us. When we came back, we were amazed to find Bella fast asleep, completely relaxed, right next to Eleanor. That alone told us everything we needed to know. My partner and I wouldn't hesitate to book Eleanor again the next time we're in Scarborough, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind, caring, and trustworthy to look after their pet. Thank you, Eleanor, for everything. You made what felt impossible for us feel completely natural.
Eleanor looked after my Frenchie Suki for the first time. The booking went smoothly with prompt replies. Eleanor is a delight and obviously loves dogs. There were a few instructions from me on Suki s care which Eleanor took all in her stride which gave me reassurance. Suki was loved and well looked after so I would highly recommend Eleanor. I will be booking again!!
Absolutely brilliant. First time leaving Willow with Eleanor for a full day doggy day care. Willow had a lovely time and didn't want to leave! I never worried about her once throughout the day as I knew she was in good hands. More bookings have been made in the future and I would highly recommend.
I was really nervous initially as I’d never left my dogs with a sitter before. Eleanor and partner were really reassuring and kept me up to date with pictures. Daisy and Ralph were well looked after and enjoyed their stay. Would definitely re-book.

Harmonogram
looking after fur babies isn’t a real job for me. i would happily move things around in my plans to make things work - i have a better day with a dog by my side. also gives me a reason to be active! i love taking dogs on trips out on the train to go have a really long scenic walk - let me know if this is okay! (looking to make this my full time job if it goes well!)

i am very flexible with different dog’s needs! let me know specifically what is needed from me :) can be kept social with different adults in the house, or can be kept separate with me if the doggie has anxiety or separation issues.

i love taking dogs on walks - they give me more confidence being outside! we go to the beach, massive fields to play, or if preferred, lazy days inside are always good too! i’ve looked after both social & HIGHLY unsociable dogs - no two are the same.
