Pet care experience

Lover of all furry creatures ☺️🐶🐱

I have been caring for all kinds of dogs for the past four years. Growing up with cats at home, I have always loved all kinds of animals, but I discovered my true love for dogs in 2020, when I moved to the Alaskan tundra during the COVID-19 pandemic. There, I helped my roommate care for her very lively 2-year old puppy, Otis (pictured in my profile photo!), and extended my care to my neighbors’ and friends’ dogs of all kinds — younger or senior, energetic or more laid-back. I have provided comprehensive care of all kinds — walking, feeding, bathing, and lots of play! I also have experience watching up to three dogs at a time and would be comfortable doing so now. Since relocating to Boston in 2022, I have been a go-to dogsitter for friends, providing reliable and loving care. However, with the ongoing Boston University Graduate Workers’ strike and the potential financial uncertainties it brings (including likely loss of pay), I am looking to extend my dogsitting services to a broader range of clientele. I am eager and excited to connect with more pet-owners in need of someone who is not only passionate about dogs but also adaptable to their varied needs—be it regular walks (or runs!), overnight care, bathing, or other specific requirements. I am active, have a lot of energy, and am happy to accommodate the needs your dog might have. If you’re unsure about what I can offer, please send me a message! I recognize that your pets are not just friends, but deeply beloved companions and family members, I would be honored for you to entrust me with their care :)

Eleanor was a fantastic caretaker for my cat while I was away! She was very communicative, responsible, and took wonderful pictures to update me on how my cat was doing. If I could give her 6 stars, I would.

Eleanor is an attentive animal sitter, cognizant of instructions and Mango’s and Nori’s quirks. We appreciate the detailed reports and pics in real-time, while we were away. This was our third time engaging Eleanor. The kitties ask for her by name (at least that is what we fancy they are meowing about) each time we take a trip.

Eleanor is truly fantastic! Is so sweet with my kitty Charli, sends lots of photos and great updates. Communicates frequently and just a pleasure to work with. Will continue to have her check in my little guy whenever I am out of town.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a 400 sq-ft studio apartment that has been optimized for plenty of space, including dedicated areas for beds, toys, and feeding stations. I am great with creating and/or maintaining routines for feeding, walks, and playtime. I live near plenty of parks, including the Chestnut Reservoir, where I can take your furry pals for enjoyable walks. My apartment is thoroughly pet-proofed, with no toxic plants or small ingestible objects or easily accessible windows that could pose a risk. I also clean my space regularly with pet-friendly products after each pet's stay, and I clean out litter boxes daily. For overnight stays, communication is my priority — I regularly check-in with pet owners, and I love to send photos or video updates! Finally, I always ensure to have the nearest veterinary clinic and a list of emergency contacts on hand. Again, I have lots of energy and flexibility — if you have concerns or questions, let me know!
