I usually work mornings, so I can do quick visits before work, but have lots of time in my afternoon/evenings to spend time with the animals if that's something that they need!

I always like to visit your home and meet the animals and see how you interact with and accommodate your animals! Making sure that the transition between me and you is as seamless as possible and giving the animals a sense of routine is extremely important to me!

I have no problems taking care of animals that's may need extra help and/or medications. If possible I like to see how you administer care. I know that sometimes our pets can be picky about the way we do our routines and it's important to me that the animals don't have to deal with too many changes between you leaving and me taking care of them!
A typical day
It's important for me to get to know your animals and their interests before I actually watch them. I know that each animal is different and requires different types of play and/or stimulation. From easy new smells and low impact walks for older animals to high energy play and long walks for young energetic animals! Making sure each individual pet is receiving personalized care is key!

I've been taking care of animals since I was a kid, whether for friends family or volunteering at the Cleveland APL. I currently work at the cat cafe in Cleveland where I have taken care of cats from all walks of life, with all different needs. At home I have two cats (19 and 13) and one dog (18). I have experience with both dogs and cats with many different medical conditions including diabetes, anxiety, hyperthyroidism, dementia, arthritis, CH, and many more!

Eleanor has been wonderful helping care for our elderly dog. She is very patient with him and gives him lots of outdoor time, including slow walks. She is also very good with our two cats, giving them lots of love and special attention. I appreciate her and recommend her!
