A typical day
I love playing with dogs, from fetch to playing in rivers with sticks and toys; I am also active and love going on walks around many fields and forests near me. Additionally, I have trained my previous and current dog, who is well-behaved (be that of an energetic 2-year-old), so your animal will receive a fair amount of play.

I’ve had two dogs since I was a child and I have trained both of them. I’ve also taken care of a range on animals so can adapt easily to most needs.

Our lab stayed with Eleanor for a week while we were on holiday. From initial contact through to collection we had total confidence that he would enjoy his stay with Eleanor and Bailey the retrevier. Our boy has clearly had a fabulous time and we will be delighted to book with Eleanor again. Strong recommend.
Eleanor recently sat for our three dogs over a long 4 night weekend. We had met the week before so she could get to know them and the set up here beforehand and was prompt, quietly attentive to all the info coming her way and clearly at ease with the dogs. She doesn’t drive but was pretty local to us and had arranged her transport to and from our home. During the booking we kept in touch via WhatsApp and she sent some photos of the dogs out for walks and at home which I appreciated. She left the house in good condition and the dogs looked happy and had obviously be played with. Eleanor had also spent some time giving the oldest dog a good comb as he was mid moult and looked much more handsome than when we’d set off! I would happily ask Eleanor to sit for our dogs again.

Eleanor was a fantastic host - she looked after Bertie so well. It was our 11 month pup’s first week’s stay away from us and he really enjoyed himself. Eleanor communicated throughout with photos and messages and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend her and will definitely use again.
